Kingdom Hearts III is an experience that's been worth waiting for, with this entry serving as one of the series' finest moments. Although the tangled storyline and horde of characters may be unapproachable to newcomers, the colourful, mind-boggling variation of the weapons and attacks in your arsenal is a truly dazzling spectacle, and undeniably fun for the duration of this 30-40 hour long epic. For long-time fans, this is a grand send off that completes the current story, with a particularly memorable finale that gives those fans exactly what they've been waiting for. With a killer soundtrack and an amazing array of enemies and worlds to boot, this could be 2019's first must-play hit.

Managing to up the ante once again, Playground Games have delivered a feast for racing fans that continues the series' trend of balancing real-world driving and flat out fun. If you're after something slightly less arcadey than Burnout Paradise but not as slavishly simulated as Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon 4 has got you covered ten times over.

It's not reinventing the wheel, but underneath Cupheads's gleeful and gorgeous cartoonish exterior lies an addictive and fierce adventure delivering a level of challenge that, much like the game's gambling Devil, convinces you to have another roll of the dice and see how far you can make it.

In a nutshell, Injustice 2 is a beautifully crafted fighting game with a great balance between gameplay and story, while retaining that wonderful competitive flare of watching Batman and Superman go toe-to-toe with each other.

Simply put, it's one of the most varied, enjoyable, memorable video games available on the market, and takes Super Mario Galaxy head-on as the best 3D platformer ever released. If you don't yet own a Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Odyssey is your excuse to buy one. It is absolute perfection, with virtually no flaws worth pointing out. I'll say it again, because you should be told both at the start and end of this review: Super Mario Odyssey is one of the greatest video games ever made.

With a fresh take on the character in both story terms and gameplay, Insomniac have delivered a superb experience that harks back to when Rocksteady revitalised Batman with Arkham Asylum. Marvel's Spider-Man is a brilliant, thoroughly needed entry in the superhero genre that is a must play whether you're a hardcore comics fan, casual Spidey aficionado or simply a lover of action adventures.

As a Call of Duty veteran, I'd say give it a chance. If you want an even harder Zombie experience, this game has provided it with bells on, and I look forward to what the DLC brings in next few months.

As a simulation game veteran, I can say this lives up to all what I expected and more. The game is easy to get into, has its share of challenges and as well as the fun stuff, along with the odd sad dino death. Circle of life and all that.

4A has taken so much of what worked well from the previous games and improved upon them. Where possible it also switches up so many established concepts on their head, meaning you're never completely safe. This leads to some memorable, intense experiences with plenty of leeway to play the game your way.
