7.2 / 10.0 - Oriental Empires
Sep 20, 2017

Overall, I can easily say this game is a really good game and it deserves a chance. As a huge fan of turn-based strategy games, I can easily see that they did a great job designing it. Oriental Empires offers a balanced mixture of all the main features that we love about well known strategy games. The visuals, the sound effects and a couple of issues with the combat system might be annoying from time to time though. If you're a fan of turn-based strategy games and if the idea of the Eastern culture in a game like this attracts you, this game is your game. However, if you expect a game with high-end visuals and fast-paced action features, well, you know the answer.

Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition is an interesting game with a unique lore. As a space simulation with a fun and interactive combat system, RPG based elements and micro-management, it succeeds on providing a satisfying experience. Although it has a couple of flaws, old-school game lovers will surely enjoy playing Halcyon 6. However, if you're looking for up-to-date graphics and sound, you should think twice about giving this game a chance.

StellarHub is a great example for those who are interested in management sims. It's hard, and becomes very hard if you select the worst conditions, but it is always rewarding to see the little smileys while clicking through your beloved space station.

The hungry Wurm is back with Nidhogg 2 and I am more than glad! With better visuals and add-ons like new stages and weapons, Nidhogg 2 brings honor to its predecessor. The game offers brilliant fast-paced combat with hilarious and gruesome moments and this is exactly what I was expecting from it. Nidhogg 2 is a must if you want to spend some quality time full of laughter with your friends! Feed the big bad worm!

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a masterpiece that I'd recommend to horror adventure/action lovers. With fantastic visuals and sound effects, this game offers a long lasting experience with many satisfying combat and adventure features. Be warned though, this game might be disturbing for some audiences as it has a story about psychosis and violent combat animations. But otherwise, this game is a masterpiece.

5.8 / 10.0 - Immortal Planet
Aug 6, 2017

Immortal Planet is a game which needs more improvements before I can recommend people to play it. The idea behind the game is really promising. The artwork, sound effects...all in all this is NOT a bad game. What I'm trying to say is that it needs improvement before it can be called a good game. I sit in the middle right now. But if you like Souls-like games, and if you like challenges you should give it a try.

The Darkside Detective is one of the games which made me actually laugh while playing it. The distinct sense of humour may not address to everyone, but if you like Twin Peaks, bizarre supernatural stories and pixelated art design, give The Darkside Detective a chance. The game offers more than meets the eye and a good laugh, which we all need.

A loving homage to classic JRPGs, indeed! Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs is a turn-based tactical JPRG set in a humorous and weird fantasy world full of action, combat, adventure and fun. I wouldn't dare to think that a turn-based action game can entertain me this much. Oh boy, how wrong I was!

4.6 / 10.0 - Inner Chains
May 23, 2017

Inner Chains has the most impressive dark and surreal environmental art design, but the rest of the game feels incomplete. Inner Chains is a long shot with potential. I highly recommend you to sit tight and wait for fixes, patches and updates which will make the game enjoyable and most importantly playable, hopefully. In its current stage, it won't be able to meet the expectations created by trailers and screenshots which we've all seen before the launch.

I wouldn't dare thinking about the possibility of telling death stories in such a glorious way. Despite the fact that What Remains of Edith Finch is short, every second of it is at full. What Remains of Edith Finch is the one and only answer to the question of how a narrative adventure video game should be. Play it, break your heart, ease your pain, witness the beauty.
