It’s the best Lord of the Rings game I’ve played to date and I recommend this game to any lord of the rings fan who’s into the lore.

9 / 10.0 - Yakuza Kiwami
Sep 4, 2017

Yakuza Kiwami was like a rollercoaster ride with the most satisfying combat, the mini games were fun and exploring Kamuroch was a blast. There’s never been a better time to try out the Yakuza series and Kiwami is definitely the best game to start with.

Which ultimately brings up to the important question: Should you buy Yakuza 6? Yes. The gameplay, the content, the story and it was the perfect send Of for one of gamings most beloved characters. It’ll be interesting to see where SEGA take this beloved series going forward – it’s almost baffling how much SEGA has stuffed into this package.

9 / 10.0 - Tails of Iron
Sep 17, 2021

Check out my review of Tails of Iron and follow our journey of Redgi the rat. Heir to throne Redgi must help rebuild his kingdom after the pond scum (frogs) trash the place. This game definitely has a darker side to it. Don’t worry though, Redgi will save the day or die trying.

Play as Luca, and endure the brute torture of MADiSON, a demon who hungers for your soul.

Throwbacks to classic characters. A kickass soundtrack. Awesome pixel art. Great gameplay. All wrapped into one affordable package. I doubt even Shredder’s hatred for the turtles could keep him from playing this game during his downtime. I recommend this game to any fan of the series who has ever yelled ‘Cowabunga’ before devouring a slice of hot pizza, Brah.

Overall this is great package and I can recommend it to anyone whether they grew up with the bandicoot or are meeting him for the first time. I’m more optimistic about his future because of how well Vicarious Visions and Activision handled this remake and hoping we get a similar remake for Crash Team Racing and maybe even the original three Insomniac developed Spyro the Dragon games. There may be a few issues but Crash Bandicoot has never looked better. Naughty Dog’s hard work is showcased in its full modern potential and it looks and plays fantastic.

8.5 / 10.0 - Concrete Genie

Overall, the camera problems and frustrations were far and few between, and it shouldn’t be a problem for most people. If you are looking for a game to stump your mind with puzzles, don’t pick up this game. However, if you want a fun, relaxing, and creative experience with a lot of love put into it, go buy this game right now!

All in all, I really loved my time with Metal: Hellsinger. Most of my shortcomings with this game are small, and don’t take away from the overall enjoyment with the game. The shooting is fun and the music is the star of the show. I loved all of the songs, and I couldn’t wait to build my meter up to hear the full song.

8 / 10.0 - Knack 2
Sep 27, 2017

When it comes down to it, Knack 2 didn't aim to change the action-adventure platforming genre, nor is it perfect, but it did do a damn good job of improving upon what the series has to offer. Some gamers will forever view Knack as a joke, but Knack 2 takes all those jokes and polishes them to a great degree. If you enjoyed the original game, you're going to have a blast with this one. I would recommend it to gamers of all ages and skill levels. Combat is fun, the graphics shine, and co-op is an absolute blast. If you have the time and money, Knack 2 is worth it. Hope you stick around for the inevitable Knack 3!

I had a blast playing this game for the most part, Warriors All Stars wasn't the crossover we deserved but it was the crossover we needed and I can't help but recommend it to fans of the Musou series.

This game is made for co-op play and I don’t think it would have been as much fun on my own. From screaming run or begging for someone to pick me up the laughter was always in abundance. Tight areas that made it damn near impossible to spray everything in sight kept the tension up along with a downed buddy in larger areas way away from everyone else. Zombie Army 4 looks highly improved and the gunplay is spot on. I don’t recall many complaints from the actual guns themselves just maybe more options. Some of the minor glitches of the game hold it back and the lack of variety with bosses was disappointing. The horde mode was quite different from the campaign as in the way it played and I felt it hurt the overall game. However, there is a lot to discover about the game and that might sound odd when speaking about a zombie game. This isn’t some major story-driven game, it’s about kicking zombie ass and it does it pretty well. Just make sure you bring a friend to the fight.

8 / 10.0 - Sparklite
Nov 14, 2019

Sparklite is a fun Indie title by Red Blue Games that I found enjoyable from start to finish. I loved discovering new areas along with new characters in the game. The core part of the game does present a decent challenge with monsters and obstacles. Finding all the necessary items to progress had me searching like a hound dog hot on a trail. It’s cute, it’s well thought out and it’s very much what I expect from a good Indie title. The gameplay is addicting even when it feels like a grind at times. There are plenty of awesome things to discover, most I didn’t even talk about because it’s fun finding them for the first time. You can’t help but want more Sparklite so you can help Ada grow in skill and also upgrade other areas of the floating hub. The game does fall short with the Titans and the Baron. It’s painful to say when the design of them works so well for this game. In the end, Sparklite is a fun romp through Geodia with well-crafted areas and a cool upgrading system. Indie fans should find delight in this game.

With each passing dungeon, I knew I was getting closer to finding out what was behind the corruption. I also knew that meant the game was drawing to a close. This was a harsh reality as I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the game. The family members and their role to play is felt on almost every level of the game. The attention to detail with skillsets and the attacks is worth playing the game just for that alone. The controls during combat are responsive and work well. The game keeps a fluid motion even when there are hordes of enemies on the screen. You couple it with an amazing story and beautiful pixel artwork it’s hard to deny this game could find itself in the conversation for Indie game of the year. If there were any nitpicking it would be in the slow loading times and a few crashes I experienced. The dungeons did at times appear to not change much for stretches but overall they present too much fun to care. Children of Morta is a stellar dungeon crawler with a family that is worth fighting with and a storyline to take it over the top. The range of emotions the game will cause you to have is just one reason this is a must-own.

7 / 10 - Maize
Oct 6, 2017

If you don’t mind thinking outside your own box, then Maize is worth a try. The game’s unique flavor and style might push away some gamers, that’s ok though! They’ll be the ones missing out on this short, enjoyable treat. The game isn’t going to blow you away with its puzzle gameplay or linearity , but the enjoyment you’ll receive from the game’s craziness will reward you with some zany moments to remember
