10 / 10 - Concrete Genie
Oct 7, 2019

I love this game, its characters, charm and the beautiful world that let me not just feel like an artist but become one. Concrete Genie has a warmth to it and I felt like the team at Pixel Opus put their hearts into this and the story and themes don’t come off forced, cheap, or playing the same old-tune we’ve heard before, but instead, real and honest. For all that, Concrete Genie is one of the year's best games and a special gem every PS4 owner should play.

10 / 10.0 - Psychonauts 2
Aug 23, 2021

Psychonauts 2 excels where others have failed by crafting a story experience that welcomes players, new and old, into the fantastically absurd world of the Psychonauts. I will not forget my time with Psychonauts 2 easily; the characters and themes have left a lasting impression.

10 / 10.0 - The Artful Escape
Sep 9, 2021

It's a psychedelic trip through a glam-rock wonderland, an utter visual delight, like nothing out of this world; indeed, something that feels ripped straight from Ziggy Stardusts head.

10 / 10.0 - In Sound Mind

I usually am not a thriller or horror fan, and I can honestly say I love this game. The way it moved me throughout, making me feel a great deal and a broad spectrum of emotions, really speaks to this game on another level.

10 / 10.0 - Unpacking
Nov 2, 2021

Unpacking is truly a unique game that has done something no other video game has done before by crafting such a tremendously relatable character out of nothing but the rather mundaneness of unpacking boxes.

10 / 10.0 - Inscryption
Nov 3, 2021

Inscryption reminds me that games are capable of so much more than we often give them credit for. Daniel Mullins manages to weave a completely surreal and meta-focused narrative into a genre-bending game and successfully create an experimental work of art.

The immense detail and story and overall thought that has been put into this game is astonishing. I am not ashamed to admit I am at over twenty playthroughs of this game, and I will most likely play through it again before the release of Spider-Man 2. I am glad that this title has been made available to the PC community and that it has been given new life in another space. The mod community has been having a great deal of fun placing their spins on both severe and funny suits, and I cannot wait to see more people enjoying it. In the words of Jeff Winger, the premise alone is priceless. The guy has the powers and strength of a spider."

9.5 / 10.0 - Death Stranding
Nov 15, 2019

Death Stranding is a unique, weird and unprecedented game that I can’t get out of my head. It’s a testament to new ideas and the rare freedom Kojima Productions was bequeathed from Sony and I hope they continue to support new ideas, no matter how crazy a game about delivering packages may sound on paper.
