5.5 / 10.0 - Crackdown 3
Feb 19, 2019

Considering how short-lived both the campaign and multiplayer modes are, it’s astonishing this sequel took this long to come out. If you are a fan of the franchise, you’d find things to love here. Even then, it feels too little too late.

10 / 10.0 - Resident Evil 2
Feb 20, 2019

The amount of content goes above and beyond, offering much more than the original game ever did. Before The Ghost Survivors DLC, this may have been a 9.5, but now, as an even more complete package, Resident Evil 2 deserves the highest honor as a solid contender for "Game of the Year".

8 / 10.0 - Wargroove
Feb 21, 2019

Wargroove will undoubtedly please the majority of fans of the genre, but it is not without faults. Hopefully, this will bring life back to the turn-based tactics genre, and take it to new heights.

All things considered, it’s wonderful that ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove exists.

7 / 10.0 - Dead or Alive 6
Mar 2, 2019

Despite a lot of omissions, this still remains a fun fighting game to play with friends and there is hope that Koei Tecmo will add features in the near future. How much would that cost is a whole other story.

6.5 / 10.0 - Far Cry: New Dawn
Mar 2, 2019

There's some great mechanics such as the perks system, unique mission variety, hunting for animals and even some of the weapons can be fun to use. But the mangled progression system, dull storytelling, finicky shooting and the abysmal vehicle controls damper the fun overall. Fans of the franchise will find plenty to enjoy, but New Dawn is a far cry from the series' best.

6.5 / 10.0 - Metro Exodus

If you are a die-hard fan of the series or genre, then it might be worth it. General gamers might enjoy the jump scares and various features of the game.

6 / 10.0 - Anthem
Mar 5, 2019

Overall, Anthem seems to be a solid foundation buried under a mixture of problems. While some bugs are minor, some of them are game-breaking enough to even cause a system crash. It’s really unfortunate, because I actually like playing Anthem. I really wanted it to succeed, and I know with time, Bioware can make it something amazing. Sadly, it’s very possible that it might not even be worth the time at this point.

At $29.99 MSRP, the game is a great buy for those who are into baseball. Just don't expect it to be a full $60 experience like MLB The Show.

In light of a half-hearted predecessor and a lot of skepticism going in, The Division 2 delivers in what it sets out to do. It's an exciting third-person co-op experience with the run and gun of the original capitalized on in the best way possible for the current generation.

When everything's said and done, however, I think fans of the genre will find something to like in the game. That noted, those who tried the Vita version may be less inclined to give it another chance, but those coming in fresh may find a mostly enjoyable title.

Overall, nWay still has a long way to go to morph this game into a mighty one. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fun and competent fighter that definitely has room to grow.

It’s an absolute treat to see FromSoftware find ways to challenge gamers again, again, and a million more agains, without having to use the same formula repeatedly. With Sekiro, they have created something that’s new and fresh, while tweaking their ideas of gameplay mechanics to perfectly fit.

While players who are unfamiliar with the franchise may be rather bored and find it lackluster, at least at first (it does pick up a bit further in), fans of the series should find quite a bit to enjoy within the game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tropico 6
Apr 6, 2019

Overall, Tropico 6 sets itself as a fun, albeit formidable challenge. Fans of the genre will likely have a lot to appreciate in the game. As said, it’s not a game for everyone, but it does what it needs to do and it does it well.

It’s a game that has a lot of hard work and passion poured into it, and the charm that’s bursting through its seams makes it irresistible. It may not be as challenging as Yoshi’s Island or Woolly World, but even with its minor flaws, this one is a well-crafted experience.

8 / 10.0 - God's Trigger
Apr 21, 2019

Even though it’s hard to evaluate God’s Trigger without comparing it to Hotline Miami, it does enough to separate itself. The numerous abilities and weapons allow for more variety, and the game is much more welcoming to newcomers and casuals.

8.5 / 10.0 - World War Z
Apr 23, 2019

Although it has a shoddy A.I system, a rather short campaign, and a PVP experience that needs some work, at a price point of only $39.99, World War Z packs the action, urgency, and fan service that’s bound to bring you back.
