2 / 10.0 - Randall
Jun 19, 2017

Randall is buggy, loose, and unresponsive, but worst of all a completely boring platformer that isn't worth your time.

3 / 10.0 - The Deer God
Apr 26, 2017

The Deer God is a 2D platformer that aside from pretty looks offers next to no substance and isn't engaging at all.

3 / 10.0 - Armikrog
Aug 23, 2016

A wonderful claymation art style and a unique soundtrack aren't enough to save this point-and-click adventure from its own monotonous puzzles and uninteresting story.

A quiz game that does little to hold your attention after the initial impressions.

4 / 10.0 - Rain World
Mar 28, 2017

Sadly, despite its pretty aesthetic, Rain World is a confusing and sluggish platformer that failed to give me any reason for what I was doing and just left me feeling bored and bewildered.

Fleeting moments of genuine enjoyment can be found in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, but with unresponsive controls and constant jarring bugs, the enjoyment is never sustained.

4 / 10.0 - Godzilla
Jul 17, 2015

You can find fun in causing destruction in Godzilla for about forty-five minutes, before the repetitive game play, awkward controls and disappointing Kaiju fights take their toll. Godzilla deserved better.

5 / 10.0 - 101 Ways To Die
Mar 18, 2016

A death simulator which somehow makes killing annoying little Netto minions actually a frustration, rather than the joy it should be. While it can be fun at times, the awkwardness of setting up the levels, lack of atmosphere and character make it a rather underwhelming experience.

5.5 / 10.0 - Steep
Dec 7, 2016

Whether you want to go on a relaxed stroll or rattle down a death trap of a mountain, the fundamental extreme sports aspect of Steep is fun. However, a flood of bewildering, infuriating and simply pointless design decisions distract from that.

The opening episode isn't exactly the most gripping of affairs, as this slow burning, political drama takes a while to get going and isn't helped by poor presentation and dull puzzles. But there is potential here for an interesting story to be told in future episodes.

A fun addition to Steep, with plenty new events and slopes providing a nice change of pace to the base game. Yet if Steep annoyed you because of its buggy nature, then it probably won't win you back over.

6 / 10.0 - Oh My Godheads
Nov 30, 2017

Oh My Godheads is a 1-4 player, fast paced brawler based around massive heads of mythological deities which are out to get you. While it's a lot of fun with friends, a lack of depth and poor AI mean it's not so much fun without any.

6 / 10.0 - WWE 2K17
Oct 20, 2016

Some of WWE 2K17 is brilliant, especially with the well animated moves, some new mechanics and a huge roster. Sadly, however, all the good is undermined by awful presentation.

6.5 / 10.0 - Foul Play
Mar 8, 2016

Foul Play is a novel idea which takes an age old mechanic and twists into something new and unique, and its great theatre aesthetic and witty humour are both enjoyable to behold. However, repetitive combat plagued by difficulty spikes, and constant saving issues, left a slightly sour taste in the mouth.

Her Majesty's Spiffing has some of the sharpest, funniest writing I've seen in a games and it has the rare accolade of being a point-and-click adventure that follows actual real life logic. But it's all over far too soon and leaves an unsatisfied feeling with plot threads just left hanging.

Repetitiveness, occasional frustrating puzzles and a couple of technical hitches may put you off Yesterday Origin, but if you persevere you will find an enjoyable, conspiracy thriller.

7 / 10.0 - Klaus
Jan 24, 2016

One of the most inventive puzzle platformers in years thanks to the way it constantly defies expectations, but the story is nowhere near as interesting as the game design, and it goes on for far too long.

7 / 10.0 - Alone With You
Aug 23, 2016

There's a lot to love in Alone With You: the wonderful art style, the synth soundtrack, the well written story, and the way it touches on interesting subjects being just a few. However, unnecessary padding and busy work really drag the overall enjoyment down.

7 / 10.0 - Invisible Inc.

Invisible, Inc. gave me a few moments of feeling brilliant when I actually did manage to complete a mission, but more often than not I was left frustrated by harsh rules and insane difficulty.

7.5 / 10.0 - It's Quiz Time
Dec 5, 2017

It's Quiz Time is a welcome return to the quiz games of old, made a lot easier thanks to mobile phones. It's a fun quizzer to play with either friends or family, even if the host is a bit annoying.
