LOST ORBIT: Terminal is a challenging game based on exploration and with incentives for the players to improve their skills. With its well-humoured plot and emphasis on high scores, LOST ORBIT: Terminal could benefit from having shorter loading times but there is no doubt that this is a game that will appeal to players who enjoy seeking higher scores.

Nippon Marathon could have been a fun and enjoyable party game: its unusual concept and amount of game modes are a good start but sadly, they cannot overcome the game's poor gameplay experience, which will quickly drive any player into bouts of frustration and repetitiveness, not to mention that the game's audiovisual component is simply outdated and nowhere near what is expected at this day and age.

Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-Tered is still holding strong and its greatest assets are as fun as ever. Thanks to its sandbox world, impressive destruction physics and complete mayhem in some of its moments, Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-Tered shows that ten years after its original release, it should not be ruled out and there's a whole package of elements here to explore.

8 / 10 - Vectronom
Jun 17, 2019

With its simple, accessible, but also very challenging and demanding, Vectronom turns out to be something that will welcome everyone and its experience only needed to last longer for this game to stand out more.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is an adaptation that has its ups and downs. If the overall gameplay mechanics are good and enjoyable and the combat feels right to the player, the game also has several elements that need improvement, such as its hit detection system and framerate. While the overall experience is positive, the game needs polishing to be up to the series' name.

Turok's remaster for the Nintendo Switch brings one of the first Nintendo 64 classics to the contemporary age and for a game that is over twenty years old, the work done here is competent and well executed and it improves on some key aspects that needed to be updated. While this does not intend to reinvent the game, this remaster can both appeal to fans of the original game and to those curious about the early days of console first-person shooters.

The Walking Dead concludes its story and the resulting effort on the Nintendo Switch is certainly a satisfying one, featuring some (welcome) tense and emotive moments, as well as some improvements in the gameplay experience. The game could benefit from less quick time events, though, and some technical issues as well as ups and downs on the plot make its performance somehow patchy at times but the overall conclusion is that this is a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Timber Tennis: Versus is not a serious, in-depth tennis game and by itself, that's not a sin. Unfortunately, its simple experience does not provide the player with any significant elements to spend time around it, with its shallow gameplay, lack of content and lack of online playing partners. Overall, Timber Tennis: Versus offers very little beyond its easy game mechanics and low price tag.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame features some moments of fun and it's an accessible game for players of all backgrounds...but the game doesn't really fulfil its mission: due to rather empty, dull worlds, few common points with the movie and technical issues, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is nothing short of a big disappointment.

ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS is exactly what its title says: a game about rockets, specifically about battles with rockets. This effort is fun to an extent when played on multiplayer but the solo experience does not have much to offer when it comes to memorable gameplay - its shallowness and repetitive nature quickly becomes too visible and the game ends up being a rather sub-par work.

8 / 10 - Super Hydorah
Mar 1, 2019

Super Hydorah follows the footsteps of old-school 2D shooters of the 16-bit era and inevitably, the result is a game with a very demanding difficulty level (which ventures into frustration at some moments), along with some very eye-filling visuals. Super Hydorah is an experience that lives up to the 2D shooters of other days and a very worthy effort within the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

7 / 10 - Party Hard
Feb 16, 2019

Party Hard will let the player turn into a cold-blooded killer but that does not mean there is no fun to be had - quite the contrary, as the game's unique gameplay mechanics, along with its very wide amount of content and lengthy lifespan, bring a fun and criminally delightful experience to the Nintendo Switch, with only its steep difficulty curve and AI issues being to blame for some frustrating moments.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures finally brings this renowned series to the Nintendo Switch and its formula of theme park, roller coaster building experience feels right as it allows for some very fun moments at what the game does best. Unfortunately, this being adapted from the mobile version means that plenty of elements were lost and while the essence of the series is still there, it feels too much like an oversimplification of the formula, not to mention all the technical issues that should have been corrected.

Horizon Chase Turbo may not be the most innovative racing game ever made but that doesn't stand in its way of providing a fun, addictive and lengthy racing game experience, with its never-ending content and simple gameplay. Had it received an online multiplayer treatment, Horizon Chase Turbo could have gone farther.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two brings a competent work to the Nintendo Switch with an improved combat system, a simple but humorous plot and an overall good acting work. Nevertheless, the game doesn't fully stand out, as its adventure is rather superficial and the challenge level is not as high as it could be, with a lack of more eye-grabbing moments and some unsolved technical issues.

6 / 10 - Next Up Hero
Dec 25, 2018

Next Up Hero is a very demanding, tough and unforgiving game based on dungeon crawling that joins the growing catalogue of the Nintendo Switch. Thanks to its colourful and cartoonish art style, the game invites the player to a very difficult adventure which is not without its problems and technical issues, but which will fit right with those who appreciate this kind of challenge.

Cities: Skylines has been adapted to the Nintendo Switch in a way that does its job in a fun and competent way. The size constraints of the Nintendo Switch screen do set some limits that do not allow for the entirety of the game's characteristics to be fully reproduced but the experience is nonetheless fun and interesting and fits perfectly with the fans of the city simulation genre.

ARK: Survival Evolved could have brought another interesting and fun game to the Nintendo Switch catalogue. Instead it's a severely distorted experience which due to its poor graphical performance, ends up not fulfilling any of its ideas correctly. As a consequence of its terrible lack of fluidity, pop ups and mistakes on the graphics department, ARK: Survival Evolved turns out to be an extremely frustrating effort that leaves no one satisfied.

Sky Force Anniversary is an interesting game by itself, with a simple and accessible gameplay as well as a very competent visual environment. Where it loses out, though, is when it's measured in terms of its rather short content and repetitive settings, not to mention that it doesn't stand up to its brother game of the same series.

5 / 10 - Sports Party
Dec 3, 2018

Sports Party offers a rather simple experience in what is a game that returns to the market ten years after its original release. There is some simple fun to be had in local multiplayer sessions, thanks to its varied events and character customization options, but the game's rather shallow gameplay and lack of an online multiplayer component means that its potential is very limited.
