Plagued by several problems and with gameplay far from modern standards, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is not the third-person adventure that we would have expected from Daedalic Entertainment. Except for the good characterization of the main character and for an overall appreciable plot, the new game of the German software house fails to be convincing and represents a wasted opportunity to offer the right amount of entertainment to all Tolkien fans who have a good passion for video games.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is definitely ... a disappointment. The technical restyling on the three chapters of the saga was half successful but does not pay the right homage to the original trilogy, while the improvements to the gameplay are not enough to make us forget the many bugs and glitches of this unsuccessful collection.

6.3 / 10.0 - Clid the Snail
Sep 11, 2021

Clid the Snail is a very appreciable twin-stick shooter from an artistic point of view, but which proves not to have an equally solid gameplay due to some game design choices that enlight the inexperience of the Spanish developers of Weird Beluga.

6.4 / 10.0 - Scars Above
Feb 28, 2023

As a TPS with soulsike elements and a sci-fi setting, Scars Above fails to be a worthy heir to Returnal due to several limitations that make the game very different to shine, especially from a technical point of view.

It's hard to recommend it to a player who isn't a big fan of the board game and fantasy universe he's drawn from, which is why you'll do well to shift your attentions elsewhere.

6.5 / 10.0 - NORTH
Mar 16, 2018

NORTH is a special experience that, despite the lack of a proper gameplay and its short duration, succeed to make the player feel what it means to be an immigrant in a foreign country, hostile and far from the dearest loved ones. A nice experience with a futuristic cyberpunk style and an excellent soundtrack.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not an absolute disaster, but it fails to reach the same levels of the excellent adventures of the Batman: Arkham series. The third-person shooter developed by Rocksteady Studios is certainly fun (especially when played together), dynamic and chaotic, but except for a good but not excellent gameplay it does not have much to offer in terms of overall quality.

6.6 / 10.0 - INDUSTRIA
Jun 22, 2022

Industria is not exactly a memorable first person shooter, being limited in terms of gameplay also due to some very questionable game design choices. The Bleakmill shooter is instead appreciable for a fascinating dystopian atmosphere, thanks to which it manages to reach a full sufficiency.

6.7 / 10.0 - Blood Bowl 3
Mar 3, 2023

The new chapter in the Blood Bowl saga fails to achieve the leap forward that fans were hoping for, amid unexplained absences and an excessive focus on the multiplayer modes.

6.9 / 10.0 - Exoprimal
Jul 19, 2023

Exoprimal has several merits, including making dinosaur hunting fun and challenging fights between exosuits. At the same time, however, Capcom has made several mistakes, such as focusing on only one mode and launching a game that cannot entertain in the medium to long term. In short, after the missteps made with Resident Evil Re:Verse and Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps, Capcom has again missed the opportunity to make a noteworthy multiplayer experience.

6.9 / 10.0 - Way of the Hunter
Aug 12, 2022

Despite the many technical problems, Way of the Hunter is a decent hunting simulator that simplifies some gameplay dynamics, without giving up on offering a profound experience for hunting enthusiasts.

Sabotage is not the best way to start the DLC Season for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, especially for PvP players. Only two of the four included maps are really inspired and actually fun to play, while the new Zombies episode called Rave in the Redwoods takes the mode to another level of craziness and cooperative play. If you loved the Zombies mode, then you must give it a try, but if you are just looking for some new multiplayer maps, then you should probably wait for a good sale.

7 / 10.0 - Skull and Bones
Feb 21, 2024

Skull and Bones proved to have a stable enough structure to stay afloat and not sink as long as the French publisher decides to support one of its most controversial projects ever. With more profound and enveloping gameplay, we would be talking about a worthy rival to Sea of Thieves. Still, Ubisoft Singapore's pirate-based adventure is just a decent video game experience more likely to be appreciated for the management aspect and the considerable amount of playable content.

RoboCop: Rogue City is an old school shooter that aims primarily to entertain fans of the franchise, who will have the chance to fight crime in the role of the robotic vigilante. Teyon's new project is good enough to provide more than a dozen hours of fun, between gunfights and investigations to solve. Despite the use of Unreal Engine 5, the visual experience of RoboCop: Rogue City is not the best although the direct involvement of Peter Weller.

7 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Aug 9, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a decent action-RPG that, with all its merits and flaws, attempts to emulate God of War with a fun and dynamic combat system. Unfortunately, in addition to the challenging confrontations with the imposing desert creatures Deck13 Interactive's game does not have much to offer from a quality standpoint. An unsteady frame-rate, along with some problems related to enemy lock-on, prevent the developers from taking the next step after the good results achieved with the two chapters of The Surge.

7 / 10.0 - Rogue Spirit
