Mundaun is a game with such a strong and clearly structured personality that makes it exceedingly difficult not to forgive its small design and technical irregularities.

Genesis Noir is a game of rare conception and points, unequal execution. It manages to tell a tragic personal story on a universal scale that, in an age of abundance of titles and narratives, manages to stand out with its uniqueness; on the other hand, its choices at the level of interaction seemed trivial and rather superficial.

Soulstorm is an updated and highly enhanced version of Abe's Exodus. Its new additions bring depth to the gameplay but also a lot of irritation, mainly due to a poorly designed save system.

Disco Elysium is one of the most important recent games. It is extremely innovative with its systems, while presenting a deeply humanistic political exploration, full of humor and wonderful characters. Every aspect of it, from the art direction to the music, the writing, to... the interface, is a small piece of art. And now, with the Final Cut version, it has become an even more complete experience.

Village is one of the most enjoyable action-horror games I have ever played, in the purest way and with everything that this entails for a title in the horror genre.

Death's Door has very few original ideas, but the flawless implementation of its basic mechanics, combined with a world full of personality and humor, make this ten-hour journey very charming.

Once in a while comes a game that reminds you of the bottomless potential of this medium. A game that escapes the molds of the industry and "unfolds" without reins into something authentically its own. With a gigantic heart and inexhaustible imagination, Psychonauts 2 never ceases to amaze from the first to the last minute. A modern classic fairy tale.

For another year, NBA 2K is a good basketball game that is surrounded by many problematic aspects, that mainly stem from its extreme monetization.

Deathloop seems at times like an attempt by Arkane to make its distinctive formula more accessible, so that it can finally boost its mainstream appeal. But we are always talking about a title of the highest quality, with a concept and a structure that are masterfully executed, an excellent multiplayer and a multi-level and creative gameplay.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land looks like a production leap for the series and is an extremely enjoyable game, with variety and a fantastic pace that is able to hide many of its weaknesses. I'm sure it will not disappoint anyone who dedicates their time to it.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a game that mirrors its own city-world: A mixture of modern and old elements. It bears many imperfections both minor and major in terms of its opwn world engagement and the shallowness of its action part.

Unfortunately, although Nintendo has teased added content (with Golf coming first this summer), at the moment Switch Sports seems to offer only the essentials. The absence of even a simple single-player campaign hurts the game, depriving it, among other things, of a little personality that seems so much in need. For now, I would highly recommend it only as a party game that really comes to life and shows its quality with friends, whether online or not. In other words, it is closer to Wii Sports than to Wii Sports Resort.

The wonderful aesthetic of Trek to Yomi unfortunately cannot cover its several weaknesses in gameplay.

While it left me satisfied as far as gameplay goes, Mario Strikers Battle League misses its goal when it comes to the single player and online aspects of it. Matches can be fun and intense and the gameplay can give a surprising depth to it, but unfortunately gets tarnished in terms of its production and content. If Nintendo chooses to support it through content updates then it has all the potential to show its worth.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a journey of epic proportions and scale that reminded me of these experiences that are great and epic in terms of ambitions. Sometimes it can be melodramatic and talkative in an old fashioned way but that sense of grandeur is all that matters. With a rich narrative in terms of ideas, concepts and twists along the way, you'll find that the heart of it is in its characters. If you're a JRPG fan this is the game that you must play.

If you've never played The Last of Us, then this is a fantastic opportunity to experience a gorgeous and faithful remake of one of the most important games of the 21st century. I'm not just recommending it; I'm urging you to get it. On the other hand, if you've already played it, it's harder for me to help you with your choice.

Nevertheless, the Splatoon 3 is more like the first. An enriched, refined version of the previous ones, a refinement of the ideas introduced from the series to the second chapter and not an attempt to overturn or -even small- Redefinition. So on the one hand, we are talking about the best -with ease- Splatoon to date, on the other hand, if you have tried the series and it has not convinced you, there is nothing here that will make you change your mind.

NBA 2K23, especially with the Jordan Challenges, the addition of earlier eras and the noticeable improvements to the gameplay, looks more "crowded", more fun but also more greedy than ever.
