A funny and brilliant take on tabletop games, Betrayal At Club Low has the same interesting weirdness of Cosmo D’s other titles with a lot of quirky characters to meet and a lovely surreal world that you don’t want to leave.

9 / 10.0 - Rollerdrome
Aug 16, 2022

While final levels could have used more variety, Rollerdrome has made this genre mash-up look like a match made in heaven with a well-told story and addictive and action-packed gameplay combining some cool yet clever mechanics that will satisfy both skating and action-shooter fans.

8 / 10.0 - Little Orpheus
Feb 28, 2022

Although Little Orpheus's platforming gets a bit repetitive, The Chinese Room Studio plays to its strength with a knack for interesting storytelling, and here we are presented with a funny and engaging story that features brilliant voice acting and a world with eye-cathing visuals and an excellent orchestral score.

Life is Strange Remastered doesn't add anything revolutionary to its experience for those who have already played this emotional and gripping narrative but for newcomers, this package with its graphical improvements could be a solid offer to experience this beautiful and honest adventure about adolescence for the first time.

7 / 10.0 - Scarf
Dec 25, 2021

Scarf does not add anything new to its genre, but the simple mechanics and stunning visuals make this short and relaxing experience enjoyable. However, the controls and puzzles could have been better.

Some small inconveniences aside, Fights in Tight Spaces, by combining ideas of turn-based strategy and deckbuilding titles into a very good package, offers intriguing and deep fights with a variety of strategies, each of which can be repeated many times with a different approach.

White Paper Games, like its previous titles, has combined some interesting ideas together in Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View. Having Rear Window as a source of inspiration is a terrifying challenge, but the developers have created a compelling atmosphere and an intriguing sense of suspicion existing in such situations with good voice acting and dialogue. However, in some parts, such as the not-so-satisfactory pay-off of the story and a few repetitive puzzles, it is not successful.

The Legend of Tianding is a charming title in every way and distinguishes itself well from other similar titles. The gorgeous presentation, the story of its Taiwanese hero and its engaging combat, have made this a good choice for everyone looking for a different 2D action-platformer title. Although the game is not without problems, the definitive winner here is the excellent combat that never gets old.

8 / 10.0 - Webbed
Sep 10, 2021

Webbed is a sweet little gem that puts you in the shoes of an adorable mini Spider-Man. While it may be short, it's such a charming title that feels incredibly good to swing around and solve its puzzles. The arachnophobia mode is a nice touch too.

Life is Strange: True Colors is a slow burn but heartfelt emotional tale of empathy with lovable characters and well-written dialogue that perfectly captures what makes a great Life is Strange game: Shining in its intimate moments. It's just that the mystery side of the story could've been more fleshed out.

Unscored - The Ramp

The Ramp offers a tranquil and relaxing skateboarding experience to anyone looking for a fun and chill game with charming visuals, easy-to-learn controls, and simple mechanics. I highly recommended taking this chill pill.

7 / 10.0 - GRIME
Aug 3, 2021

Grime is a solid entry in the souls-like and Metroidvania genre that stands out due to its unsettling world and some nice new ideas. However, it's a difficult game which means it can be a little bit frustrating sometimes. The story could have used more clarity, too. But overall If you are a fan of challenging games this is a good place to lose yourself in.

8.5 / 10.0 - Omno
Jul 29, 2021

It may only take five hours to finish, but Omno is an incredibly peaceful experience and visually stunning 3D puzzle platformer game with solid puzzles, platforming, and exploration. A remarkable feat for a solo developer.

A thought-provoking and heartfelt story wrapped around a Zelda-esque adventure with great puzzles and the clever twist of using a painting mechanic to add color and draw on anything, Chicory: A Colorful Tale is one of the best games of 2021.

Emotionally satisfying music with beautiful visuals has helped The Longest Road on Earth to convey its message in the most fulfilling way possible. It may not be a full-on spectacle affair and unlike its name, it may not be the longest of experiences but it gives you more than you need on the emotional side of things.

It seems that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood had some very nice ideas under its hood but they just haven't come together as good as they should in the final product. Although the combat has its moments and the world building is quite intriguing, at the end of the day it's just a cycle of repetitive and banal moments.

6.1 / 10.0 - Encodya

Although Encodya has good humor, likeable characters, nice music and distinct art style, mediocre and boring puzzle design stops us from recommending it to the fans of point and click games.

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale is one of those games that you like to pour yourself a hot drink after a busy cold winter day and experience calmly. In addition to the eye-catching appearance, the game's stealth system - although it could have given the player more freedom of action - is clever and enjoyable.

8.2 / 10.0 - Welcome to Elk
Sep 18, 2020

Welcome to Elk benefits from a well-written narrative that intermingles dark and melancholic stories with comedy to create a world of its own. Even though it could have more content gameplay-wise, it still communicates very well with the players and makes them reflect.

8.3 / 10.0 - Röki
Jul 22, 2020

Röki is a good first step for Polygon Treehouse which uses its unique art style and nice tunes to tell a charming and sometimes bitter story. They can improve on the gameplay for their next title but we have some smart and different puzzle designs here which is a plus.
