Fans might be a bit upset with lack of of game modes and mini-games that usually get packed into a Dance Central title but this price I think they'll be able to appreciate the trade-off. It's definitely worth picking up if you want something fun to do with your Kinect besides telling it to go to Netflix.

The Taken King is an important step forward as a franchise and more often than not feels like the Destiny we should have gotten last year. Bungie is finally adding meat to a game that was mostly bones. Year 2 is off to good start with a story that matters, improved loot drops and leveling system. At the end of the day, Destiny: The Taken King has become an easier adventure to revisit and an even easier recommendation for new players. Now, who wants to raid?

Little Creatures is a freshly scary experience that feels like a like gothic storybook come to life despite some technical hiccups and awkward controls.

Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire manages to do just enough to keep fans interested in visiting the world of Tyria by adding much needed like mounts. The new class specializations provide new and interesting ways to play your typical MMO class archetypes.

Somehow Wolfenstein: The Old Blood makes killing Nazis and zombies, the two worst things in videogames next to quick-time events, a fun and worthwhile time.

In essence, other than the microtransactions and a few other bumps along the way, Capcom has done a stand-up job applying the episodic formula to Resident Evil. New and old fans alike can dive into the world again, knowing the water is mostly nice.

Kinect Sport Rivals gave me a renewed faith for the Kinect. What Rare did was show us the technology works. Finally we've got a fun party game for the Xbox One that's easy to pick up if you have the space. It's not perfect but the title atones for past motion control sins. Most importantly, it gives us confidence for the hardware's future.

7 / 10.0 - Albion Online
Aug 30, 2017

Albion Online is a fun sandbox MMORPG with a clever progression mechanic and deep player-economy. The mid to late game grind and hardcore nature might turn away anyone looking for a more casual experience.

Mantis Burn Racing is a fun yet slightly shallow racing game. It's a decent alternative for those who don't feel like getting too investing in a deep racing sim and are just looking for an easy to play arcade racer.

Even though this is a remake of a six-year-old game, it still holds up pretty well as far as gameplay is concerned. Darksiders: Warmastered Edition looks at its best at 4K resolution and as a game, it's better than its sequel.

Bulletstorm is back and it is still as ridiculous as you remember. The Skillshot System provides an awesome challenge for FPS players who want something a little different than your typical military shooter.

Attack on Titan 2 has an action-packed campaign that fans of the show will enjoy along with a pretty fun multiplayer mode, even if does look a bit outdated and the traversal system can prove to be more challenging than taking down a Titan.

Last Year: The Nightmare is a fun, albeit shallow experience that could use more content and reasons to keep playing. In the increasingly crowded market of asymmetrical online horror games, Last Year manages to streamline a lot of what usually makes these types of games so frustrating to play.

Episode 3 manages to give us the best and worst gameplay experiences Revelations 2 has to offer in one package. Claire's campaign is a shining example of how I want all my future Resident Evil installments to be, while Barry's time seem wasted with a "been there, done that" busy work design.

It's very rare you find a game this self-aware about how ludicrous the situations you're in are. D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die is definitely a case you'd want to solve.

ScreamRide delivers an interesting and exciting mix of high-speed thrills with some fun destruction puzzle elements thrown in for good measure. What we really need to keep an eye out for, however, is how the community will shape up after launch.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a gorgeous game that gives us a great sense of what the Xbox One can accomplish in terms of graphics. Sadly, the shallow combat doesn't shoot it passed your average 3rd person action game.

At the end of the day if any triple-A franchise deserves the remastered treatment, Gears of War fits the bill. It spawned a legion of devotees. Even though the campaign has shown its age, the multiplayer still can compete with today's shooters.
