In short, Flashout 3 takes some getting used to, and in today's world, that is not the typical way to keep people involved. Still, once you understand the mechanics and controls, Flashout 3 delivers on enough fronts to create a fun and immersive experience, just one that lacks longevity and depth.
FLASHOUT 3 is a good racing game, its mechanics are well executed and the challenging AI keeps players engaged so they are always trying to master the tracks and upgrade their ships. Its smaller scope may make the title seem average at first glance, but fans of the genre can find some good hours of fun.

Want to blow up people on a racing track while piloting a hover vehicle? Well then good sir/madam this is the game for you. Just, don't expect the same whimsical enjoyment you may find in other titles.
