Phantom Liberty is a bittersweet ending for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s culmination of all the efforts made to make the game something special. A stellar expansion that dramatically improves on the base experience, whilst delivering an epic spy-thriller storyline.
If you’re like me, and were initially a little lukewarm on Cyberpunk 2077, then definitely give Phantom Liberty and the new 2.0 patch a shot. It makes for a much better experience overall, and the Phantom Liberty storyline is a blast to playthrough. This gives me a lot of hope for what the next entry in this series will end up being, and has reignited my interest in a possible follow-up in a way that I didn’t think was possible.
Redemption came with excellence. The experience of playing a full game of Cyberpunk 2077 with our character from scratch adding Phantom Liberty is simply unique. In terms of plot, immersion, and so on, it's practically unmatched. The universe that CD Projekt has created around Night City hasn't been made overnight, nor has it been fixed with two simple patches. The game never let bugs get in the way of its real charm and seeing it now in all its glory simply makes it one of my favorite games of all time, just like The Witcher 3 has been.

Cyberpunk 2077 was an ambitious game on release, maybe too ambitious. It soon became a stable and phenomenal game overall. It was full of great characters with great gameplay and visuals. Phantom Liberty took what Cyberpunk 2077 had already provided and has given us so much more. The game has now incorporated a new area different in style and tone with gameplay to match. The new expansion drags you into the seedy, rough, and ready part of the city. You are bound to get lost in uncovering mysteries full of action and intrigue. I’d recommend anyone buy this if you are already in love with Cyberpunk 2077 as it offers up a new and interesting side to the game’s story.
Cyberpunk 2077 had an awful reputation three years ago but CD Projekt Red’s efforts to fix it and the exceptional content found in Phantom Liberty more than redeem this futuristic RPG.
Phantom Liberty is CD Projekt RED's big apology to everyone, but it's also the imposition of an evil stubbornness that runs through the company and, more importantly, its developers. The expansion is one of the best experiences you'll have this year, even if you didn't like the original game. It's a chant that can be heard from Poland from all corners of the gaming planet. Now is the right and proper time to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077. And keep your eyes on Songbird! Protect it at all costs!

Cyberpunk 2077 is now much more accessible in terms of performance, which could bring many players back and many new ones so they can have fun in this futuristic universe. The review of the game's various systems and elements is a breath of fresh air and transforms this title into the dream promised a few years ago. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC, boosted by the new patch 2.0, in all its glory, puts this game back on the RPG map. After the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2020, it seemed like that this franchise doomed as bugs and technical issues aside, the core gameplay failed to live up to all the hype and expectations. But CDPR showed massive drive and dedication with Phantom Liberty, and what we have today is what 2077 should have been. CDPR is definitely back, and Phantom Liberty could be a big turning point for western RPG genre.

Phantom Liberty is an absolute triumph in game design and one of the best pieces of DLC ever made. It’s that rare release that not only goes further than the base game but improves the overall experience with supporting updates. With a fantastic, unforgettable cast of characters, superb writing, tons of action, and wonderfully creative missions, if you’ve been waiting to play Cyberpunk 2077, this is the incentive you need to jack in. The content can be a bit too action-heavy with danger around every corner and there’s some time delays between missions which get a bit frustrating, but none of this is enough to deter you from Dogtown.
In spite of it all though, CD Projekt Red has struck it out of the park. Cyberpunk 2077 finally shines the way it was always meant to. I hate talking in anything that resembles platitudes, but Phantom Liberty is an honest-to-goodness triumph. It’s not just the narrative I hoped for out of the original game, it’s everything it ought to have been. It properly sands away the rough and occasionally raw elements and designs of the base game and sharpens its best parts into a weapon like little else. It doubles down and makes it clear this is a world worth telling stories in. It more prominently and earnestly wears its heart on its sleeve, all the while delivering characters and consequences that hopefully ripple outwards in brilliant and bold new ways. It’s everything I could’ve wanted Cyberpunk 2077 to be.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a real success. CD Projekt RED has successfully diversified the experience, forcing you to play in different ways. There are many new additions, both to the new district and to the existing ones. The new characters are charismatic and have real depth. The story is also very gripping, and some of the choices will be very difficult to make. When I think of successful DLC, Phantom Liberty will be one of the titles I'll recommend without hesitation.

Phantom Liberty is a strong expansion to the base game, and a reminder that, despite the rough start, the Cyberpunk 2077 universe is one I'd love to see further expanded in the future.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, despite its rocky predecessor, manages to deliver a visually stunning and immersive experience. The production value is completely off the charts. I spent 25 hours in Dogtown and I still have a few things to mop up and another two endings (of five total) to see. There has been some great additions to games over the years, but for me this stands on top of the pile as the best expansion to date.
Although Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty offers players a good bit of new activities to do, the lack of new quaint romantic partners or a happy/satisfying ending leaves us feeling unsatisfied. If this is truly how CD Projekt Red plans to end Cyberpunk 2077, they are doing the fans a massive disservice.
Phantom Liberty simply delivers one of the most significant stories in the history of video game industry.

Phantom Liberty is CD Projekt RED’s masterpiece. Not only is Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty graphically easily three generations ahead of the entire industry and redefines how we experience video games with pathtracing, it’s also written even more thrillingly and staged even more explosively. Anyone who doesn’t enjoy this several times in different play styles has never loved video games. A clear must-play.
