The value of a WarioWare is measured by the eccentricity and fun of its video games and, in this regard, WarioWare: Move It! comes out at the top. In the various levels of this entry in the series, you will find yourself constantly changing positions and contorting yourself to achieve countless objectives that are as unpredictable as they are hilarious, an experience highly recommended for anyone willing to squeeze the juice out of this title. However, the narrative glue that connects and justifies the minigames does not reflect this inventiveness, and the extra content does not have the diversity and appeal of its predecessors.

Move It!’s fun factor doesn’t quite reach the heights it could, thanks to occasionally spotty controls, ambiguous commands, and brief microgames that vary wildly in toughness. Still, the series has always thrived on this balance of simplicity and unpredictable microgame chaos - traits that Move It! unapologetically leans on.

While WarioWare Gold on 3DS remains my favorite for solo play, when it comes to multiplayer parties, it's hard to overlook Move It! It'll keep you returning to it as you discover all the microgames, experiment with every mode, and shoot for hi-scores. Expect lots of smiles and laughter with the time-proven format. Fans will want this entry in their libraries to enjoy the hysterical hijinks.

WarioWare: Move It! is a welcome addition to the quirky series, providing moments of laughter and creativity. Its microgame mayhem is a highlight, and the inventive multiplayer modes elevate the overall experience. However, the game faces challenges with a high price point and limited replayability. If you're looking for a party game that thrives on chaos and unpredictability, Move It! might be the right fit, especially if you have friends willing to embrace the hilariously absurd challenges it presents.

WarioWare Move It by no means reinvents the wheel in the franchise, as we still have the thug Wario up to his usual antics while we continue to goof around, this time with the JoyCons. I've enjoyed, as always, the game's graphic remix, which keeps you on your toes with unexpected changes, the irreverent humor, and having Wario around, which is always a plus. While not the best game in the series - the GBA one still holds that honor - Move It will provide some good moments, especially when you have guests at home.

WarioWare: Move It! is a wonderfully smooth game full of funny, varied and creative microgames that make good use of the possibilities of the Joy-Cons. It's everything you'd expect from a WarioWare game, although the party mode for three or four players is a disappointment. The pace is slow in this mode and because each player has not two, but one Joy-Con, the game registers all the poses and movements you have to do a lot less well. The two-player story mode is by far the best this bright, strange and funny game has to offer.

WarioWare: Move It! is a masterpiece of minimalist gameplay where a level is completed in a couple of seconds. Incredibly, all the more than two hundred challenges are very distinct from each other and all of fine quality, without any of them seeming to be added to make up the numbers. The Story Mode is already a lot of fun, but the challenges designed specifically for local multiplayer are small strokes of genius. All with a graphic design that highlights the insaneness of the production. At first, it's not so easy to understand what the various mini-games ask of us, but it's all a matter of practice.

WarioWare: Move It! might not turn the world upside down, but its unique gameplay gimmicks and charm will get players smiling, laughing, and moving like nothing else.

WarioWare: Move It! follows the series' tradition of making the most of Nintendo console technology, but the game arrived very late in the Switch's life cycle. If it were among the first games available for the hardware, the novelty of playing with the Joy-Con would possibly compensate for the lack of more in-depth modes and content.

Despite rendering the value proposition of the Switch moot due to the fact you will need to play docked, the game’s variety in both content and visuals certainly makes up for it.

Everything about Move It! feels like it should work, and when it does it's a lot of fun. The problem is that doesn't always work. Some rotten apples in the microgame selection and the Joy-Con hardware's awkward fit with the overall concept muddy up an otherwise good time. Given the discombobulating nature of WarioWare, some muddying can be acceptable up to a point, but Move It! occasionally crosses the line from being playfully antagonistic to frustrating for the wrong reasons.

The WarioWare games have always been weird and wacky fun, and this latest instalment is no different. I had fun playing through the main story and seeing the result of Wario's vacation.

Wario brings back motion to the Switch in Warioware: Move It! for a fun, if not dated experience.

WarioWare: Move It! is a lovely game. The variety of challenges is really wide, while the Story is perfect for getting into the mood of the game. I would have appreciated an online multiplayer mode, but still, I had a lot of fun.

The Nintendo Switch has a deluge of amazing party games, many of which were produced by Nintendo. WarioWare: Smooth Moves isn’t going to unseat the last Mario Party game or any of the Jackbox titles, but it’s still a fun romp for those who miss the days of waving Wiimotes around, despite its flaws.

WarioWare: Move It! is another excellent entry to Nintendo’s strangest (and one of its most consistent) series. A couple of the games take a bit to get used to, but the variety of fast-paced and goofy microgames and modes provide everything you could want from a WarioWare game.

WarioWare: Move It! utilizes the Joy-Con to its full potential, delivering the quick-paced, quirky fun you'd expect from such a brilliant franchise. While Story mode is a blast, the game only offers a few hours of content outside its clever but somewhat disappointing multiplayer. Move It! won't replace a certain red-hatted plumber's party and family game staples any time soon, but Intelligent System's creativity is something to be applauded.

WarioWare Move It! is a delight in its purest form. For those hungry to relive their childhood, to those who have been craving the madcap antics of Wario and friends over the span of some less-than-stellar titles, this is the return to form we've been waiting for.

At each turn, WarioWare: Move It! hides a fresh surprise, whether that be a fully-fledged mini-game where you’re flapping your arms to fly through a canyon, or a skiing game where you’re a giant, guiding your own massive feet.
