Without Evermore, Ni No Kuni 2 would have been good. Because of it, it's one of the best JRPGs on PC.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the RPG adventure that's like shooting sunshine right into your veins. So clear your calendar, because Level-5 is about fill it with monsters, magic, and city management.
Ni no Kuni 2 aims for a lot of different targets: world-spanning story, management sim, recruitment game and solid combat experience. Against all odds, it manages to hit them all in a way that very few games in its genre can manage.
Although the precedent set by the first game was remarkable, Ni no Kuni II manages to position itself as a worthy continuation of what is already one of the most interesting sagas of the current role playing scene. Level-5 has created a game that stands out from the competition with its own personality. For the lovers of Studio Ghibli, here you will find a jewel to continue dreaming about.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom may be vastly different, but it's ruddy marvellous! Its many systems sure are intimidating at first, but things click into place very quickly, and there's a lot to do in this gorgeous and well-crafted game. They say that it's difficult to recapture the magic, but this is one more Level-5 game that has become essential. They may have moved on from Studio Ghibli's tutelage, but the lessons learned have resulted in a phenomenally good JRPG.
A great cast of characters and a wonderful story, it's tough not to fall in love with Ni No Kuni 2. If you're looking for a world to get lost in this is a game that will provide you with many hours of enjoyment, amazing you at every turn with a barrage of beautiful imagery, incredible music, and gameplay to match.
A bit too traditional story aside, Ni No Kuni II is one of the most engaging, heart-warming and beautiful rpgs's in a long time.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is yet another classic example of a sequel done right.
Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a JRPG delight that embraces the best of classic design and combines it with some new and exciting ideas.
Overall, I loved my time with No No Kuni 2, thanks to its wonderful character designs, charming story and enjoyable game mechanics. The narrative isn't quite as chunky as the first game, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on whether you like long expositions or want some more balance between story and gameplay. Some plot points also admittedly feel a bit hurried and Evan can sound unrealistically Pollyanna-ish at times. Likable characters, a plethora of side activities, fun combat and solid storytelling, however, make Ni No Kuni 2 a must-have game for folks who pine for the Golden Age of classic JRPGs. It's the perfect chaser after Persona 5.
Revenant Kingdom is a better game than its excellent predecessor, which makes it a must-play for genre fans and curious folks alike.
Thanks to its heartwarming characters, whimsical soundtrack, and gorgeous visuals that are simply a treat to look at, there is much to appreciate in this sequel.
