It’s really hard to find a sequel that’s better than this: with a great story, incredible graphic and OST, and a lot of variety in the gameplay, DMC5 truly is a great sequel for the franchise after the not-so-great reboot.

It’s easy to argue that Devil May Cry 5 is the best entry in the series yet. It combines the stylish, fast paced combat that has made the series great since it’s inception with new playable characters, systems and an engaging and well paced story making it an incredibly fun and rewarding game to play through.
Devil May Cry 5 excels at bringing back that iconic feeling the franchise is known for and does so with killer style, strategic, fast-paced combat, and a pumping soundtrack. With a cast of both familiar faces in Trish and Lady, as well as newcomers Nico and V, this is a game that gives me confidences for the future of the Devil May Cry series.
On top of being one of the best looking action games ever made, none other hack'n slash has ever been so complex and varied, but also fun. It may be all about demons and hell, but Devil May Cry 5 is like reaching heaven.

What a hell of a game! It does not just look damn good, it also plays that way! The fights are fast and easy to learn and we always get new weapons or skills. Nero, V and Dante all play completely different and occasionally you even have the choice of which characters you like to play, at these levels then this wannabe multiplayer is used, the idea is nice, but it would not have been necessary since the others Usually, players only see from a distance and you are busy with demons, or with the camera, especially with the small jump'n'run inserts, the camera is weakening. Devil May Cry 5 is fun, stylish and sexy. This isn't just the best Devil May Cry game but the best game in the entire Character Action genre.
Although the combats present some minor faults, the fact is that Capcom and Hideaki Itsuno's team have managed to get the genre back to the position it occupied for generations. Long live the children of Sparda. Long live Devil May Cry.

This new chapter of Devil May Cry saga made by Capcom, is perfect under every aspect. The gameplay is satisfying, wild, extreme and never boring. The sounds effects are incredible and enhance the action, giving to the player an adrenalin flowing. The character design is absolutely perfect, not only for the variety of enemies and locations, but also for how Nero, Dant and V are characterised. Devil May Cry 5 is absolutely stunning, suggested both to the fans of the brand and to all the players who likes "hack'n slash" video games, even if they've never played a Devil May Cry game. Just few flaws push this game one step away from a perfect score.
