Chocobo Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! Reviews
Overall, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! is a fun game to play, though the story and some of the characters could have been done better.
Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon has an incredibly cute look to it. But don't be fooled, the game is unforgiving and challenging. The roguelike elements can feel a little off balance at times, but the fighting system and dungeons keep you going.

With simple gameplay, charming story, chibi design and a flashy companion system, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! is a title that can become an excellent entry for all those who have not played a roguelike game. It's a shame that, in the end, it ends up becoming a fairly repetitive project that denotes the same mistakes of the original Wii game.

Don't be fooled by the cute and childish look of Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, because the game actually has some formidable aspects, like a wealthy content, huge dungeons and a tough challenge. Despite a technology which is almost the same than the original game and persistant flaws, the game is very catchy. If you missed the original title, or if you are a chcocobo, Final Fantasy or a Mystery Dungeon fan, it's a decent proposition. However, it's too bad that the game can be so punitive, and the technical side as well its usability hasn't been reworked.
So how about a final roll of the dice? Anything other than a natural 20, and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon probably isn’t for you.
While the reinforcement of (Every) Buddy might appear too light to have legitimately retitled this remastered port, such evolution not only strengthtens the combat system, but also softens the whole experience, which remains harsher than the smooth feathers of Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon suggest though.

Some interesting development decisions and job balance woes rough up the experience a bit, but it is still a solid choice for rogue-like and Final Fantasy fans alike.
