Being an extremely faithful remaster, Metal Wolf Chaos XD is definitely not up to today's standards. It's outdated in many aspects; but for the most part, it knows how to be ridiculously fun & entertaining. If you're not used to how old games were like, cannot handle absurd humor and most importantly, cannot tolerate playing a game in 30fps, you're not going to enjoy it. Otherwise, you're going to love it

Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a brilliant way to bring all the games in the series together and introduce them to a wider audience. But it could have been much better than what it currently is, boasting more features and content (like the "Hose It Down!" spin-off title) to make it the ultimate collection of the series' history. Nevertheless, it contains 4 really fun puzzle platformer titles which previous fans of the series and even newcomers to the franchise can enjoy playing alike.

6.5 / 10.0 - Lightstep Chronicles
Aug 14, 2019

Lightstep Chronicles is a very good game with an absorbing story telling in its own genre. If you like visual novels and can deal with the game’s short play time, then go ahead and experience the game. Otherwise, LC doesn’t really have much to offer to you

7 / 10.0 - Dry Drowning
Aug 14, 2019

Dry Drowning offers an engaging story that keeps its quality in almost every game moments. The hard decisions and dilemmas also add more spice to the experience. However, when it comes to some of the gameplay mechanisms such as the Living Nightmare system, the game is not quite satisfying.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is not a flawless game and certain parts of it could have been much better, but no one can deny its high production values and how masterfully it is made. Wonder Boy / Monster World fans will find themselves right at home and experience a vastly improved but extremely faithful successor to those titles, and newcomers to the franchise can enjoy playing one of the best and most fun metroidvania titles released in the recent years

4 / 10.0 - KILL la KILL - IF
Aug 12, 2019

Unfortunately, KILL la KILL -IF is a game that could have been great, but its issues have prevented it from happening. The game can satisfy KILL la KILL fans with its dazzling graphics and faithful take on the story. But it fails to capture the attention of players who are not familiar with the source material. This, coupled with a flawed camera system, a small amount of available content, and some questionable design choices such as locking nearly everything behind story mode completion, sadly makes for a mediocre title

6 / 10.0 - Defend The Keep
Aug 10, 2019

The game has tried to walk on the boundaries of innovation and the use of familiar ideas, and it's up to the player to determine whether it succeeds or not. This game is not a bad game at all, but that doesn't also mean we're looking at a good game. If you can get away with the uniformity of the gameplay and its low variety, and a lack of logic in the story, you will surely have a good time with its attractive level design, ear-catching music and beautiful artistic design

Youngblood is a bold move; some of its changes are good ad reasonable. Some of the others seem great on paper but are not executed well. And some shouldn’t even exist in the first place (I’m looking at you microtransactions). Maybe those good ideas will have better execution if the developers learn from their mistakes but that is for the future titles to be seen. But what about Youngblood itself? If you’re a Wolfenstein fan, despite its flaws Youngblood can be enjoyable; like a cold drink in this hot summer

Stranger Things 3 is able to revive the memories of old games and create a relatively good experience with well-done level design and clever puzzles. But unfortunately, it have also failed to create a balance in the gameplay and created many highs & lows because of camera angle issues, control issues and a high amount of bugs

5 / 10.0 - Night Call
Jul 29, 2019

Night Call tries to combine adventure and simulation genres to present something completely new, but it fails and the result is a dull game which usually forgets its main story. Still, it is possible to find some interesting moments in listening to passengers and their life story, but it comes with the price of standing poor gameplay and annoying bugs.

8.5 / 10.0 - Streets of Rogue
Jul 26, 2019

Thanks to its long early access period, Streets of Rogue achieves what a good Rogue-lite should; An addictive experience that takes hold of you while presenting itself with new and varied content on each turn of play. If you love this genre, this is a must have. For others? If you enjoy freedom of choices and approaches and pixelated graphics, Streets of Rogue can be both enjoyable and an introduction to the world of Rogue-lites

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a gigantic game that in comparison with the first game, benefits from a better building system and a more free and detailed world. But lack of advancement in the combat system and repetitive nature of it hurts the experience. Also apart from the great opening segment, as we progress the story, dialogues become more and more repetitive and in some cases, it gets too long and unnecessary

5 / 10.0 - Luna

7 / 10.0 - The Sinking City
Jul 22, 2019

The Sinking City is an ambitious game with a great story which was bigger than what the small team at Frogwares could deliver. The final result is a moderate game with many mechanics that are lower that today’s standards. On the other hand, the numerous bugs throughout the Oakmont city and the full-priced tag don’t help this game at all. Nevertheless, the Lovecraft-inspired story, great characters and engaging in-game cases make this game a worth-trying experience.

Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble has many flaws. Shoddy controls and a badly designed UI have made a chore of navigating menus, and are a testament to the inferiority of the game’s PC port. Furthermore, the fragmented narrative has made it difficult to understand the premise of the game, while poor writing has made its main characters quite forgettable. Such problems, along with little difference between various factions and characters, have caused the levels to feel the same, and become monotonous after a while. Despite these flaws, however, this game has a solid tactical gameplay that will provide an enjoyable experience for fans of Advance Wars and other turned based tactics games

8 / 10.0 - Blazing Chrome
Jul 16, 2019

Despite some issues, Blazing Chrome can be considered as a true spiritual to Contra Hard Corps. If you're a Contra fan, you'll find most of the things you wanted in a Contra title in this game as well and will be quite pleased with what you'll get. But the rest of players and especially those who are inexperienced in the Run 'n Gun genre might have issues with the game's difficulty and the amount of available content

Is Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night a really good game? Despite having some issues, it certainly is and will absolutely satisfy nearly every old and new player. But is it as fresh and captivating as Symphony of the Night? Sadly, it's not. It just reintroduces features we've seen in the past and perfects most of them, and adds not much of its own to the formula. RotN is a fantastic game that just lacks new & innovative ideas, and a solid foundation for possible future installments to build upon and create groundbreaking titles

Jul 12, 2019

The game is the result of the ideas of a creative person who does not have the correct recognition of video games and can not afford to miss any of the jokes for which he has designed it. Interesting ideas are presented in the game and an interesting world is created for it, but excess in most cases, has turned it into a title that can not last. At least not as a good title

6.5 / 10.0 - SCRAP RUSH!!

8 / 10.0 - Layers of Fear 2
Jul 9, 2019

The Layers of Fear 2 is undoubtedly one of the most frightening titles that have been released in the last few years, when most of the titles are similar. The experience of a different game that tries to affect the player through psychological and internal fears can be very exciting. But the new elements of the gameplay are not so perfect, and with all the efforts made by the creators to make a balance between their own style and keeping the game entertaining among today's games, they still could not do it well enough, and in the final stages, these elements are completely out of balance
