Chris Capel's Reviews
It's the worst game of 2015 so far, and it'll probably hold that title until Alone In The Dark: Illumination comes out. Avoid, please god avoid.
How bad does a game have to be to lose “Resident Evil” from the title?
More like Wasted Journey
No, it's not a sequel to that terrible vampire stealth game. That would've been preferable
It tries hard but I'm afraid Journey of a Roach needs a good stomping. Yes, I've been waiting all review to say that.
Don't buy it. And there's no multiplayer either, in case you were wondering.
The story makes no sense and goes nowhere, characters are unappealing and badly written, puzzles are uninspiring and commit at least three Adventure Gaming Sins, and the entire end chapter of the game felt like I was actually being tortured. I'm sure the Gabriel Knight series is good but as far as I'm concerned this is where Jane Jensen's reputation dies. Avoid at all costs.
Just what the world needed, a sequel to Mars: War Logs!
Unless you're looking for a quick cheap adventure to play on iPad I cannot recommend Fire at all… and it's not even on iPad.
NaissanceE could've been a neat game but Limasse Five should've just stuck with making a cool artistic world and left the actual gameplay at home. I may have then complained that there wasn't enough game in it, but at least I would have actually enjoyed it.
The final DLC expansion for Far Cry 5 is dead on arrival
Sadly it’s pretty bad. I don’t mind short games but at two hours (including puzzle solving) the game doesn’t leave much room for storytelling, character and world building, compelling puzzles, or much of anything really.
We can’t remember the last time a game disappointed us so much. Petroglyph are a gifted RTS developer filled with industry veterans, and their last title Grey Goo was superb. 8-Bit Armies though is not.
Chris Capel tries to get his little grey cells to work
If you're going to get it do so now, because there won't be anyone around to play with by Christmas. Gauntlet needs fun, badly.
All in all though I can't think of a single reason you'd want to play Escape Dead Island over a thousand similar, better games on Steam. Most of them have zombies in them anyway.
Wait and hope for some major patches for now, but even then Armikrog still won't feel actually finished. Shame.
Space Colony is not without its charm or satisfaction, but you'll want all the idiotic colonists to die long before you reach the credits.
I'm sorry guys, but Hack 'N' Slash needs a bit more time in the programming oven.
Call of Cthulhu is an undeniably fun adventure game with some great ideas, cool stealth moments, and it never devolves into a shooter like Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth did.
