it finally seems that Disney has finally started listening to the gaming community: Spider-Man is easily one of the best games of the year. It's a wonderful title that not only works as an amazing video game, but one that also just happens to star your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Devil May Cry 5 is back, bringing with it the same hack-and-slash action that made it one of the best action franchises of all time.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze makes its debut on the Switch, and it's still worth going bananas for.
The cult hit from 2011 returns to this generation and still manages to be just as engaging and innovative as it was back then.
Shadow of the Colossus is still a great game despite its game design becoming repetitive and the fact that some of its mechanics can be quite irksome. There still isn't a game out there that can match its dreary atmosphere, simple but effective storytelling, and outstanding boss fights.
The last bit of the Nintendo Switch's 3rd party support of 2017 offers 2 enjoyable RE outings, though not without their quarks.

Even after all these years, Bayonetta 1 + 2 are still wonderful action titles. Read on to find out why.
The Purple Dragon returns in one of the best remasters of a classic franchise.
Overall, Spider-Man: The Heist adds enough new content to justify its price. The story is short but sweet and, once you wrap up the main quest, you can unlock 3 new costumes that you can use in New Game+.
The final chapter in The City that Never Sleeps DLC story for Spider-Man is a knockout.
The combat is funny, if on the easy side, it's funny as hell, and manages to tastefully recapture the look and feel of the show.
The DS cult classic makes it's way to the Switch, though your millage will vary, depending on how you play it
Days Gone may not be game-changing like other PlayStation exclusives, but it's still a well put together title.
Resident Evil 6 isn’t a bad game; it’s just not that impressive. It’s easy to see why so many where disappointed when it first came out, but if you go in this expecting a fun action game, it’s defiantly worth checking out, especially at only $20. Long time fans, however, will be left wanting more.
Sonic's latest adventure has moments that recapture the best moments of past games, but they're spread too thin--both literally and figuratively.
Turf Wars is a disappointing chapter that does little in progressing the main narrative of The City That Never Sleeps storyline.
