Christopher Joslin's Reviews
If I could quit my job and spend the next few years playing Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition I would. It is addictive in every aspect. From the customization of your team, to the impressive combat, to the thousands of outcomes in the story, it never gets old.
While not perfect, Pathfinder: Kingmaker does a great job of providing a complex and true to its origin isometric RPG. Newer players to the genre should definitely be wary though as it is so intricate a system with a limited tutorial.
While it may not bring anything new gameplay-wise to the genre, the unique design and story, amazing soundtrack, challenging combat, hours of enjoyment, and fantastic boss fights make Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition a bonafide winner.
It may be a hard subject to discuss in real life, but My Memory Of Us does what it set out to do and is a game the whole family and younger children can be a part of.
If you are a trophy hunter, you have to pick up Jack N’ Jill DX. I got the platinum in under 20 minutes.
Fans of the show and novels should definitely pick it up for something fun to do while we wait for Season 8
Atari Flashback Classics is a must own for those who want to relive the past either for the first time or older players like myself looking for a huge collection of games to have available on the go.
Mystic Vale is a relaxing card game with a lot of hidden tactical elements and depth.
NieR: Automata Game Of The YoRHa Edition was tough game for me to review, while there was plenty I really loved, there were some things I felt held it back.
If you are a fan of the Castlevania series, or just looking to experience the early games for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to own some of the best titles of that era.
It is flawed in so many ways but I just couldn’t put it down. This addictive gameplay is what saves Warhammer: Chaosbane.
Slay the Spire is a roguelike deck-building game that will hook you once you get your hands on it.
Octopath Traveler is a retro-inspired JRPG masterpiece that fans of the old days of Squaresoft RPG's can enjoy, and is available now for PC.
Contra Anniversary Collection is a missed opportunity to bring Contra to a new audience in a polished form, this collection is just plain lazy.
The Sinking City is an overpriced technical mess full of awkward mechanics but with a decent plot.
Samurai Shodown is a new version of a classic franchise. The new game offers an intricate and unique fighting experience, that requires patience and timing
Faeria is a great game for Hearthstone players looking for similar gameplay.
Blazing Chrome is a fantastic love letter to retro run and gun games that fans of Contra cannot miss and new players should experience.
Redeemer: Enhanced Edition is a fun co-op experience with great combat that is stuck in a game containing no other redeeming features.
Songbird Symphony is a fantastic game for all ages. Birb is my favorite new game character of 2019.
