If an action RPG that forces you to be calculated in your approach that is married with an engrossing story about a social revolution sounds appealing to you then this is one to pick up.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a fun and recommendable ARPG game set in the world of League of Legends, just like we could see with the popular Netflix series Arcane, only this time we'll experience the events embodying Sylas, learning more about his past, about his ambitions and his goals. A game with great and careful graphic and sound sections, as well as a story that can be played perfectly even if we are not fans of the franchise, since it becomes quite interesting and encourages the player to continue playing to discover all its secrets and explaining the plot. all those important details of the LOL world.

There are a few typos in the game’s UI, like the status effect ‘inmune’, or receiving a blessing with an extra S. But despite a few small issues, I otherwise found this Riot Forge title to be another smooth ride through League’s increasingly complex canon. The Mageseeker makes the smart move of setting up some truly hateable villains, and then lets me smash their hopes and dreams — what more could I want from a game about toppling the elite?
The Mageseeker is an enjoyable action RPG experience if you're into 2D pixel art, fun-if-simple action mechanics where you take magic & sling it back, and everything in-between. The League of Legends lore expanding of Demacia and its cast are also a treat, but I'm honestly in it for the simple gameplay loop and the challenges it poses along the way. Keep at it with these spin-off bangers, Riot Forge!

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is another compelling spin-off from Riot Forge. Despite some imperfections, it offers fun gameplay, a well-realized world and a likable, if headstrong, protagonist.
Mageseeker is perhaps my favorite thing to come out of Riot Forge publishing yet. Digital Sun has already proven that they have a good grasp of what makes an action-RPG fun, but they put their chops to great work here, bending a highly interesting corner of League of Legends lore to their style. Sylas fits them well, and they make his story sing in turn. Between compelling ability-stealing combat, chain-flinging traversal, an ever-expanding and upgradeable arsenal, and a beautiful musical score guiding another awesome visual and narrative interpretation of League of Legends, Mageseeker is an incredible time. Whether you’re a fan of League of Legends or not, this is a journey worth seeing through to the end.
Mageseeker is crafted with care to appeal for the League of Legends fans who are picking up this game to follow Sylas through his past, with an engaging gameplay that just fits his character, but it sadly fell short in terms of the story telling which made the point of this game weaker.

Solid and definitely has an audience. There could be some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is fairly straightforward, but it nails the feeling of playing as Sylas. The story goes to some interesting places and is accompanied by some great bosses and a momentous finale.
Yet another great game that expands the LoL universe. Mageseeker has some issues, but they are easy to ignore – the gameplay and the story are so much fun!

The guys from Digital Sun show us that Moonlighter was not a flash in the pan and with this The Mageseeker they bring us another quite enjoyable product that will also delight lovers of the League of Legends universe. Although those who are not fans of this universe will miss a greater ambition in the project, the truth is that it is a very enjoyable product independently and accessible to all types of audiences.
