Critic Reviews for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered
Modern Warfare Remastered brings a significant graphical upgrade to the classic shooter.
One of the most influential video games of all time gets the remaster it deserves, and is still impressively entertaining after all these years.
Right now not every map is accessible, as the plan is to have several content drops throughout the holiday season until it's feature complete. While that's not ideal, especially since you're forced into buying Infinite Warfare on top, there's still more than enough here to keep you busy until that time comes. A lot of love and care went into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and I hope other developers (including some of Activision's own studios, I'm looking at you Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Prototype) take note.
A great remaster that can be considered almost a remake. It may be too old on its gameplay basics, and doesn't have de deep customization options of its older brothers, but still manages to entertain either on the campaign or on the multiplayer side of the game.

Fans of Call of Duty shouldn't have had to wait this long for the definitive edition of a classic.
They don't make them like this anymore. Modern Warfare Remastered has received the treatment it deserves and is an incredible boxed extra for Infinite Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered updates the FPS classic admirably, but its pricing scheme and missing maps keep it from reaching its true potential.
Ultimately, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered might be the best remaster I’ve ever played. Everything is updated and beautiful, without losing a single thing long-time fans loved about the original. If you’ve ever wanted to see where the online multiplayer craze started, this is it – and it holds up amazingly well.
