Aside from some perplexing omissions, Tekken 7 is a roaring success where it truly matters; in its mechanics, its dynamism, and its ability to engage the player through its concise presentation. Make no mistake, the King is back.

Those crazy Mishima boys are at it again in Tekken 7, which spices up its volcanic, dysfunctional family drama with some new mechanics and one “Raging Demon.” Admittedly, a few more extra modes certainly would have been nice to have. A full-fledged campaign combined with rock-solid mechanics, fun customization and that flashy Tekken style, however, makes this game another hard-hitting entry in the popular fighting franchise.

Tekken 7 is a fighting game with a great gameplay, but with few content in the single player mode. The story, however, is pleasing and full of content, unlike what happened in the previous chapters. Tekken 7 is the most balanced and immediate Tekken ever, too.

While Tekken 7 does sort of go back to its roots and rights the wrongs of some of its predecessors (mainly Tekken 6) it does leave a little to be desired from a story perspective and the rage system feels more like an adaptation of systems from other fighters instead of a new system to help make the game feel unique in the genre

Tekken 7 is a well crafted technical fighter that tries to do some experimentation while not sacrificing core gameplay to do so. A lot of the little add-ins seemed like fun ideas the dev team wanted to play with, and did so in a way that respects the players, be them Evo champions or noobs to the series. At the end of the day, it's all about the fight, and the fight is good.

Even with the game's increased emphasis on multiplayer over single-player content, Tekken 7 remains a fun fighting game experience. The core mechanics are as tight as they've always been, and the new material adds some flair to rope in new players. The character roster is balanced between old and new fighters, with just about everyone getting some improvement to their skills. A good number of people are only interested in getting the fighters into ridiculous outfits. The PC iteration boasts a very healthy community and some nice graphical improvements over the console versions, so any gamer on the PC will be happy to have this fighting game in their grasp.

Tekken 7 is mechanically perfect with stylish gameplay and combos that are a joy to execute, however the game lacks in character story content and gameplay modes instead opting to offer a short but highly detailed story mode that focuses on the rivalry between Heihachi and his son Kazuya.

Tekken 7 doesn't really do that much new and the Story-Mode this time comes too short but besides that Tekken Fans will get everything what Fans would expect a good 3D fighting game and especially a Tekken Game. The amount of Fanservice is great and if they manage to fix the online connectivity issues we'll have the best Tekken game in years.

While rocking the Unreal Engine 4, and backed with the kind of quality netcode that has yet to be seen in any other fighting game on PC, Tekken 7 is the premiere fighting game experience for those seeking an endless stream of competition.

Tekken 7 is a well-balanced fighting game with a fantastic starting roster and crazy amount of combos. The customization is fun and there’s more than enough content to justify a purchase if you’re a fan of the genre. The only things holding the game back are the long loading times and connection problems in multiplayer. Trophy hunters will be pleased with a quick and enjoyable platinum trophy.

The children begin loving their parents, then they judge them. Rarely, if never, forgive them. So this chapter of Tekken also closes, although it contains some small ripples at the narration level, certainly succeeds in involving itself as only that beaten Bandai knows how to do it.

Tekken 7 may not have invested much effort in its simple story and unconnected events, but in turn has provided a style of play that combines simplicity and skill with a set of improvements that have made each battle possess its own character like Rage Drive and a huge list of more than 30 characters available to play with, including 9 New characters, and the ability to modify the appearance of any fighter, but unfortunately the game suffers from various problems in the Internet connection.

Tekken 7 is a great game that fullfill all what it proposes: it offers great and deep gameplay mechanics, enjoyable game modes, a cast of colorful and diverse characters, and splendid cinematics and scenarios. Sadly all of its contents doesn't go any further from what any other fighting gives and one of its most important features (the Story Mode) doesn't work so well. Overall it is a good game that, without a doubt, could have been better.
