Minit is a great little game which keeps you thinking and planning ahead due to its strict time limit. There were moments when I was lost and had no idea where to go, but there was always an NPC hinting where to go or what to do, I just subconsciously chose to ignore them it seems! The art style and chiptune music is a delightful nostalgia trip back to the simple gameplay mechanics of the 90's whilst incorporating the advancement of duck-like creatures. Even though my first run only lasted 94-minutes, I had a lot of fun and I can see myself pouring many hours into this game trying to get all of the trophies.

Minit basic gameplay premises are super simple, but in many ways, it is super sophisticated in the way that its design had to be thought to work in an instance that was challenging but still fair and pleasant enough to convince the player of its proposal. I loved the premise, the jokes, the secrets, the fantastic soundtrack and pretty much everything that constituted this little adventure.

A great high-concept adventure that borrows liberally from old school Zeldas but has plenty of unique ideas of its own.

Minit is a prototype rather than a videogame, since it shows how far the indie games can go. A title that uses time as a mechanic to deliver an amazing design lesson to the players.

Minit is a real success and shows how well a good idea can work if used wisely. This tiny adventure where death strikes at every minute offers a delightful twist to the 2D adventure genre, by forcing the player to play differently. By being sent to the starting block every minute, Minit feels like a brand new race against the clock which will please every curious gamer out there.

Minit's missteps are the side-effects of its complete focus on a single design mechanic, one which also happens to be the game's greatest strength. Ultimately, these problems fade into the background, allowing a smart, refreshing and impossibly rewarding gameplay experience to prosper.

Minit is a game in the purest sense of the word, harkening to a time when solid gameplay and genuine joy were the sole cornerstones of design philosophy.

Minit is as much fun as it is unique, and it sets standards that will soon be used in other games, maybe more popular, but not as original as Minit.

Minit is a perfect example of a game that introduces a creative new concept, explores it thoroughly, and then ends before things get stale. This may be a short game, but you're almost assured to have a blast for every bit of it, with funny dialogue, creative puzzle design, and moderate amounts of replayability all being a plus. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different than the norm, along with anybody who's looking for a title that takes after the older Zelda games. We really enjoyed our time with Minit, and we'd encourage you to take the plunge on this one.

Minit is an adventure with a twist—an adventure that turns into work, and a twist that turns into as much of an anchor as any unfulfilling day job.

It's always great to see a videogame try and do something different, and Minit does so with gusto: it takes a tried-and-tested formula and turns it on its head with one very simple mechanic. It makes a standard adventure game into a test of memory, of patience, of skill, and even though it'll frustrate you, it'll have you coming back for "just one minute" time and time again.

Minit itself is a huge achievement, something that comes across as so basic but manages to hide many intricate details including a narrative that is discovered as the game progresses.
