Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker finally achieves its goal of catching the player, especially if you are a Naruto fan, by being a really fun video game. Its combat system, although quite simple, will always want you to execute a strategy coordinating with your team.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a mediocre fan-base fighting game which actually won't please any original comic book fans.

Much like how Boruto has failed to live up to its progenitor, Boruto to Naruto: Shinobi Striker cannot live up to the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. Like most of its type, it gives a huge advantage to those who can play with friends, a guild, or a clan, but even with this, the broken matchmaking leads to crushing defeats on a regular basis. This, combined with the constant delays thanks to unskippable results screens and huge load times, really puts a dampener on the whole experience. It's a shame because there are a lot of good elements here, plus a crazy and addictive combat system. It, sadly, just all feels rather unfinished.

If you’re a gamer who prefers to play their games solo this may not be the Naruto game for you, honestly you will likely find it more enjoyable to play one of the great Ultimate Ninja Storm games. Shinobi Striker has a heavy emphasis on multiplayer with it’s lack of story mode and the multiplayer game modes making up the main focus of the game’s replayability and loot grinding addictiveness. That said, fans of the Naruto series will have an enjoyable time with this game and will likely get stuck in the addicting loot grind just like I did.

Technical problems and imperfect controls prevent Shinobi Striker from really convincing, despite the mix of single player and multiplayer online could offer an interesting touch to the anime series.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is an interesting concept, but manages to ruin the experience with its flawed combat.

It's frustrating that Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker isn't better, because the elements it needs to be a great game are all there. The modes on display show the game can be fun, and with a bit more added in, there'd be more of a reason to stick with the title.

Naruto and Boruto fans will find joy in the team-based, MOBA-like matches (both cooperative and competitive) that Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker offers, but it's difficult to recommend the game in it's actual state, with lots of connectivity problems. Given it's nature, we hope this problems will get fixed in the near future.

Shinobi Striker is a game with a solid foundation that just needs more of everything. The combat is great, and the customization options are plenty but a lack of game modes and unbalanced matchmaking create a sometimes frustrating experience. A lacking progression system and little to no post game content bring down what could have been a great game. Hopefully, it will receive the polish and content it needs post launch but as of now it isn’t worth full price.

Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker has a good proposal in bringing the 4 player team missions of the manga/anime to the video games. But what could be a fun co-op online game, ends up falling into the sameness of the genre, bringing very little variety and content for players to keep playing the game.

Fast and fun multiplayer brawler with Naruto license, that still lacks in scope.

It is true that it will not go down in history and that it lacks a bit more load in single player mode. An interesting story mode would have given some more arguments to a title that works well in its main facet: the online fight for teams. Maybe it's not a game for everyone, but if you're a Naruto fan you should give it a try.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a refreshing multiplayer experiment in the Naruto universe, which at first glance can't stand out from the standard anime bowler mush either because of its size or its ingenuity. Although Shinobi Striker relies on a small gamut, especially in terms of mission selection, classes and the available VR masters, he can score with his multiplayer component and motivating skill system. The reduced graphic quality, the insignificant story structure and the manageable content, however, give the title an additional bland aftertaste, which consistently gnaws at the long-term motivation. Naruto to Boruto is a nice accessory for all fans of the lively Jinchuuriki and for those who can't wait for the next serious Naruto beat-up. For all the others, the arena beatings will sooner or later offer too little added value due to the manageable size of the arena.

If the concept of a multiplayer game in the universe of Naruto is attractive, Naruto to Boruto : Shinobi Striker disappoints by his gameplay, his camera, his matchmaking, well below the standards of an experience to share today, even between fans.

There are some novel ideas present in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. Unfortunately, these ideas are either clumsily executed or too surrounded by unpolished design issues to truly shine.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker has done well to provide fans with a new Naruto experience and features some exciting mechanics that are executed really well. Ultimately, the game falls a little short in terms of content, something I would expect to see updated as time goes on. The biggest draw then is in playing online and with friends. By that token, it’s a really enjoyable game to play.
