SoulCalibur VI Reviews
We are facing a great product, which has managed to reinvent itself to attract new players without giving up the essence that has made the franchise one of the most beloved of the genre. It has been done to pray, but the wait has been worth it.

SoulCalibur VI is the best SoulCalibur game in over a decade
I am the biggest fan of creating your own character! I was absolutely blown away with the selections of gear and the different ways to customize your fighter. Pick all the gear separately or throw on a whole outfit already premade. You can choose every single piece of gear with various colors and or designs that are of a vast selection. I have not seen a Fighter as well put together as this and is pretty amazing they could pack so much into this. From the hair styles, stance, clothing and even the items that can be placed anywhere on your character. They missed nothing here and I was absolutely thrown back. I almost, almost had a hard time making my character due to all the items that can be selected, though I wasn't, it is saying a lot that I almost was. I can get into making a character, all day if need be to make it perfect. Well done, well done indeed.
Soul Calibur has always been unique with its 8-way movement system and is hands-down the best fighter of it's kind. If you're a fan of fighting games at all, then play this game. You won't regret it.
SoulCalibur VI is the very best of the series
While SoulCalibur VI probably will not be a top title in the eSports fighting scene, it has a solid enough online presence that should provide plenty of competitive gameplay. That being said, too often the fighting genre relies too heavily on online competition to give their games longevity. Kudos to the development team here for creating an incredibly robust single player experience that is worth coming back to time and again. This makes SoulCalibur VI my vote for best fighting game of 2019.
Soul Calibur 6 is most remarkable fighting game of this year. Especially character creation is menu very good and detailed.

Soulcalibur VI is a good action fighting video game to have in your gaming shelves together with the other big games right now like Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V. This will be great for playing with friends who also love fighting video games.
SoulCalibur VI is a fresh game which also hits the nostalgia chords very well.
A worthy successor to a long-dormant throne, Soulcalibur is back with a vengeance!
The best tale of souls and swords in a generation
If you have any interest in picking up a good fighting game this October, SoulCalibur VI is an amazing choice. With the exception of a few small issues, and lacking content in some areas, SoulCalibur VI is something I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.
SoulCalibur VI is an excellent fighting game and one of the best entries in the franchise. If you've avoided the franchise until now, you should change that. There might not be another opportunity.

"Soulcalibur VI" proves to be a modern, albeit slightly superficial, beat 'em up classic. Even though the fighting engine has undergone a noticeable fine-tuning, giving the game a pleasantly tactical depth, there's no point in looking for groundbreaking innovations. Especially the staging outside the fights is sometimes very unkind, so that "Soulcalibur VI" rather moves in the shadow of other beat 'em up's. All in all a technically round title with a decent amount of scope, inviting fans of beatings to entertaining game sessions.

SoulCalibur VI tries to provide a comprehensive package, but the single player offerings are still lacking. The fighting system is solid, but it's the package that lacks something special.
After feeling stale since Soul Calibur IV, the new game not only feels like a reboot with the classic mechanics keeping it's strong cast of characters, but also a fun game. That being said, if you compare it to other fighting games, in the narrative department feels a little bit lacking.

SoulCalibur VI comes as a welcome addition to the series despite some niggles. Overall, the package is grand and certainly appeals to fans of the franchise. It’s an accessible title for newcomers and generally heaps of fun to play across all its modes. Obviously, the lack of a bigger budget shows here, but what is provided is enough to charm like-minded players. That said, the creation mode whilst limited in comparison to previous offerings is the star of the show. It’s a game in itself to customise the default roster or make your own deranged or beautiful fighter. The fact players share creations online is a massive boon.
While there are some nagging issues, Soul Calibur VI represents a huge step in the right direction. It does not make me more of a fan of this series than I am of their other 3D fighting game, but I had a lot more fun than I expected. One disadvantage to having so much fun with the game is that I now want to go back and play through The Witcher 3 again as soon as possible (for the seventh time through). That is only a problem because of how many other great games there are to play right now, and Soul Calibur VI is definitely one of those great games. Not only is the $59.99 full price justified, but I can’t blame anyone for spending an additional $29.99 for the Season Pass. That is a bit steep, but 2B fans are going to be chomping at the bit to get their hands on her as a fighter. Meanwhile in the fighting game community, we are again flooded with a glut of riches for new quality games. Plan on seeing a very large presence for Soul Calibur VI at the next Evo. With this game, the series is at it’s best place in a very long time, possibly ever.
It’s a must-own game even if you’re not a fan.
Project Souls has managed to restore luster to his work. SoulCalibur VI is proposed as an excellent base for newbies and a satisfying title for more experienced players: cared for in many respects, enriched in terms of single player and with an effective reinterpretation of the controls which is flanked by the brand new Reversal Edge, SoulCalibur VI leaves behind the weight of a fifth chapter not very successful to revive the series and in spite of some more or less slight defects, not on a technical level but structural because of the Season Pass, it proves to be one of the best fighting games of this year.
