The Walking Dead: The Final Season - Episode 4 Reviews
Players who have been with the Clementine character from the start will more than likely be satisfied with how this finale unfolds.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4 – Take Us Back is a triumph of a finale that gives the players – and the characters – the ending they deserved.
The Walking Dead finishes much as it began, with believable characters making heartbreaking choices, interspersed with flounderingly inept, QTE-laden attempts at action.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season - Episode 4 Take Us Back has a lot of highs and lows. With organic situations caused by the player's decisions mixed with questionable situations. It won't please everyone but Take Us Back but provides a sufficient conclusion to Clementine's long journey.
With the final chapter bringing Telltale and Skybound's series to a close, Clementine's story comes to a bittersweet and emotional finale.
The concluding episodes of Telltale games' genre-defining narrative horror story ponder how to preserve humanity in a callous world
Saying goodbye is always hard, and with The Walking Dead: The Final Season we've all had to do it twice now. This second time may be bittersweet, but it's a farewell worthy of the series and its beloved characters.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4 wraps up seven years of undead drama in satisfying fashion, delivering genuinely moving character moments and meaningful, ultimately uplifting, observations about parenthood. The Final Season Episode 4 can be slightly exhausting, both emotionally and because of an overabundance of action scenes, but fans who have been with Clementine since the beginning won't want to miss the final leg of her journey.
Considering there was a time not long ago where it seemed we would never see a proper conclusion to The Walking Dead, the finale we do get is wonderful. There are a few end outcomes based on your path through the story, each as strong as the one before. But, most importantly, there is real closure here, and a sense that this was a journey worth taking.
This last episode of The Walking Dead is certainly not perfect but it brings a conclusion - which was not sure a few months ago - to the series. And it still can be liked by those who truly love the characters, even if it has only a few surprises in store. Nevertheless, this opportunity to say goodbye to Clementine - in extension to the whole Telltale Games formula - is truly appreciable. We'll miss her for sure.

Take Us Back caps off The Walking Dead: The Final Season on a pitch perfect note with the goodbye that Clementine and Telltale themselves deserve.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season reaches its last episode, and provides a neat if not entirely satisfying conclusion to Clementine's story.
Strictly speaking, you don't need a review to tell you whether to play the final episode in the fourth season of a franchise. This far down the line, you're already on board, or you aren't. I think Take Us Back's writing will find some division in the community, regardless of your own personal outcome.
