James Galizio's Reviews
Capcom have crafted the series' most ambitious expansion to compliment Monster Hunter's most ambitious title since the franchise's conception.
Akitoshi Kawazu and Square Enix have crafted one of the most innovative RPGs in years, and players owe it to themselves to check it out.
Offering a definitive package for both rhythm game players and Final Fantasy fanatics alike, Final Bar Line is a certified must play.
The first Dragon's Dogma was ahead of its time. With Dragon's Dogma 2, its vision is fully realized. The result is one of the best RPGs of the last decade.
When it all comes down to it, Super Smash Bros for Wii U is a well put together game. It knows what it wants to be - and what it sets out to accomplish, it does so in spades! The gameplay is solid, smooth, and enjoyable - and the entire product has been polished to an absolute shine! Don't let the name fool you; as this game has a personality all of its own!
Breath of the Wild is a fantastic game, but chances are you already knew that. Nintendo's latest title manages to be a true adventure at the best of times, with only a few faults otherwise holding it back. This is a game that you don't want to miss.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a culmination of the series as a whole, noting all that made past entries great, while building upon them to craft something new, cohesive, and greater than the already fantastic sum of its parts.
Project DIVA Future Tone is easily the most content complete Project DIVA title yet. It's not perfect - and it won't necessarily appeal to all fans of the series - but it nonetheless stands as one of 2017's first must buy titles.
Xanadu Next encapsulates the design philosophies of the early-to-mid 2000's Falcom, culminating in one of the best PC games I've played in years. You owe it to yourself to give this game a shot.
After finishing Steins;Gate 0, I can't think of it as a sequel. With how well it fits into the original story, complimenting it - Steins;Gate 0 feels like the missing half to the original that I didn't even know I wanted, let alone needed. Now that I've read it though, I can't think of Steins;Gate without it.
I won't try and argue that Trails in the Sky - the 3rd is a perfect game, but I will say that if you're a fan of JRPGs you absolutely need to play this game at least once. The 3rd is both a perfect send-off for Trails in the Sky, as well as a fantastic build-up for the titles to come. Just, hopefully, we'll be able to see ALL of them in English one day.
Chaos;Child tells a heartbreaking tale of murder, delusions, and what drives the essence of person. It's a painful tale, but one that very well may stick with you forever.
Bayonetta 2 sets the new standard for Character-Action games to come; it is a true modern classic, and a testament to videogaming as a whole.
Steins;Gate 0 adds a lot of characters to the mix this time around, but perhaps the characters that it adds aren't used to their full potential.
Capcom brings Monster Hunter back to the big screen in a big way, culminating in perhaps the best game in the franchise's history.
Chaos;Child comes to PC, and we take a dive into Chaos World to see how the Visual Novel holds up.
NIS's take on a DRPG manages to surprise, offering a near-masterpiece for the genre - for those that can handle its mature subject matter.
Steins;Gate Elite meshes the best parts of the original VN and its anime adaptation, making it the definitive version of this classic.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III brings the Erebonia arc of the Trails series to its second half - under a new western publisher, no less. Here are our thoughts on the game:
Square Enix have delivered a mostly solid port for the fantastic Dragon Quest Builders 2.
