It’s great playing with gravity, especially in such a stylistically designed world, and there’s so much more to do this time around.
Whether or not you’ve played the first one, Gravity Rush 2 is a game you can’t afford to miss.
Gravity Rush is the celebration of a surreal and original fantasy, constantly balancing drama and irony. A perfect sequel, born from the magic imagination of Keiichiro Toyama.

Gravity Rush 2 takes the charming original game and builds on it in important ways. The addition of armors makes the combat better, the characters are still fun, the new city is a blast to explore, and its all wrapped in a soundtrack I really enjoyed. Overall, it's a game well worth playing both for newcomers and fans of the original.
Gravity Rush 2 is a worthy follow up to its predecessor, despite some of its most glaring issues. With a gorgeous presentation, amazing music, improved gameplay, and a great lead, if you were a fan of the first Gravity Rush and just so happen to have a PS4, do yourself a favor and pick a copy up.
A unique game in a vibrant world that is able to build on what was already successful in the first installment. It had been developed further in many aspects that present an unforgettable experience regardless of some noticeable camera issues and a few other weak missions.

When it comes down to it, the game has so many highs, and yet very little lows. If this is truly the last game as it’s marketed to be, then it’s a shame that there won’t be a Gravity Rush with a fleshed out story and perfected combat. At the same time, with this one, there’s so much packed in it, if another were to be announced, it would be a long ways away. A game like this is incredibly special and only comes along every so often. Gravity Rush is easily one of the Vita’s best games, and Gravity Rush 2 is easily one of the best video games ever made.
After a couple of story hiccups, Gravity Rush 2 righted itself and pulled me in with the personality of its world and wide variety of activities. The new gravity powers and styles make combat exciting, and well-written side quests and character relationships grant better insight into Kat’s universe. After 40 hours I found it hard to put the controller down, and I can’t wait to jump back in to finish every sidequest I can find.
Gravity Rush 2 is an excellent game with a well told story and interesting characters. There are a ton of things to do with 27 main missions and more than 40 side quests that are imaginative and well thought. This game surpasses its predecessor by far with a very large world made up of floating islands that is way bigger and more beautiful than you might think. Gameplay is satisfying but not without its flaws. There is no lock-on system so sometimes you end up disorientated mid fight and you’ll mainly use one attack for most of the battles. In spite of this flaws the game is engaging and a lot of fun. You can almost feel the care and attention the developers put into it.

With heaps of charm and innovation, you’ll be hard-pressed to resist the pull of Gravity Rush 2.
While Gravity Rush 2 could have improved much more compared to the first game of the series, it successfully expands on the formula by adding a lot more content. It is a great deal for any fan that just wants more of the original.
Just as charming as the original, but the improved combat and clever new gravity abilities make for a notably better game.
Whether its flying through the sky, walking up walls or exposing a corrupt system driven by the wealthy and powerful, Gravity Rush 2 is a delight.
Overall, Gravity Rush 2 is a fantastic sequel to an already very good and interesting Vita game. Due to its unique gravity based mechanics, there are still some teething issues but the game remains eminently playable and fun with it. I am very glad Sony stuck by this series, as it is shows that games are at their best when they are weird and varied. I only hope that this is not the last we have seen of Kat and her gravity shifting abilities, as there’s a lot more scope here for something even better.
Gravity Rush 2 is a game unlike most of what’s out there on offer right now. It might take a little getting used to, especially if you didn’t play the first game, but if you give it a chance it will absolutely grow on you. Taking on the role of Kat is rush of an experience, and there’s so much here to absorb that you’ll need a couple dozen hours to get through it all. Whether or not you played the original Gravity Rush or are looking for a unique game to add to your PlayStation 4 library, Gravity Rush 2 is certainly a breath of fresh air.
