Everything I've seen suggests that this is the version you want if you've never played any of the Bayonetta games before.
This is one for Bayonetta hardcore fans or those who've missed out on the originals. It's also a brilliant way to get ready for Bayonetta 3.
The queen of stylish action has now made her way to the Nintendo Switch, and along with Bayonetta herself comes two of the best action adventures money can buy. While both games have minor nitpicks and there, overall they're fantastic experiences enjoyable by casual and hardcore players alike, giving form to quality re-releases on Nintendo's latest platform.
It feels like a bad 70's action movie and the story, characters and quirkiness of the gameplay is pure ingenious. Even after all these years, Bayonetta 2 on the Nintendo 2 is still a very fun experience with a great gaming engine, exceptional graphics and a female protagonist that will make you laugh and also give you a healthy dose of controller rage.
We are happy that SEGA, Nintendo and Platinum Games have reached a new agreement to continue a series that deserves a third installment, but while that exclusive for the Nintendo Switch arrives, it is good to be able to prepare with this collection that allows you to play anywhere.

If you missed Bayonetta's Wii U outing, this is the perfect time to catch up.
A classic that now is becoming portable without losing anything on its way. Bayonetta 2 is still an essential game despite the time since its launch on Wii U. This version may not provide excessive improvements or novelties, but if you didn't play at the time, you are facing the perfect opportunity to do so.

Bayonetta 1+2 are also on the Switch essential games for every gamer and Nintendo Switch Owner. Despite some minor setbacks when it comes to playing the game on a 4K TV, both Parts will make you enjoy your time coming back to the series and hype even a skeptic for Bayonetta 3.

The developers haven't messed with the content. Because almost no one bought the Wii U, few people had the chance to play Bayonetta 2. With Bayonetta 3 on the horizon, giving people a chance to catch up is a really good idea on Nintendo's part. That's why these ports have been released, and they're that good that, even if you were one of the few with a Wii U, you may as well buy them again.
Bayonetta is one of the best stylish action game ever, probably the best one. It's good to play it again on Nintendo Switch. Bayonetta 2 is a beautiful sequel to one of the best stylish action game ever. If you haven't played it already, don't miss it on Nintendo Switch.

Bayonetta on the Switch is a fantastic port for handheld mode but there's not much improved for TV gamers aside from load times. Bayonetta 2 remains one of Platinum's best games, and is a treat on Switch just as it was on Wii U.
Though the first game's starting to show its age as far as visuals go, the relentless action remains timeless. Fast, frantic and frivolously fun, it's still worth playing. The sequel, however, improves upon everything; deliver a more focused, more nuanced and more refined. It's a glorious masterclass in design and flow.
[Bayonneta] can be appreciated wherever you want, with a solid and granitic 60 fps, and a better visual experience on the go. The remastered version of Bayonetta 2 is a moral imperative for every owner of the Nintendo Switch who didn't play the most stylish and crazy action series of all time.

The original Bayonetta may be almost ten years old but that doesn't mean that its gameplay is any less amazing or that its action loses any pace. Bayonetta 2 has not suffered with the passage of time and this epic action game remains one of the finest examples of its kind. Featuring the same breathtaking gameplay and incredible action sequences, Bayonetta 2 on the Switch provides an even more complete experience compared to the original thanks to its newfound possibility of playing it everywhere.
