Forgotton Anne Reviews
Forgotton Anne is a charming little adventure, with an interesting, and good-looking, hand painted world that's fun to live on for the eight or so hours that this will last. Unfortunately, the story never really manages to become as emotional and engrossing as it thinks it is, and the rest of the experience, the actual jumping and puzzle-solving, feels more like useless baggage.
Throughline Games really ought to be applauded; Forgotton Anne is something rather special. If this is the calibre of the studio's first game, I really can't wait to see what else it comes up with.
Forgotton Anne has more story than many games three times the price. It's a journey worth taking and a name worth remembering.
Forgotton Anne sets new benchmark in interactive story-telling and shows that you don’t need to have a big budget just to provide the best experience.
Despite its flaws, Forgotton Anne has such fantastic qualities that may charm you to overlook these inconveniences.
The harmony between puzzle solving and platforming is too great and coupled with its emotional and powerful story, Forgotten Anne doesn't disappoint in any way.

Forgotton Anne would make a great two hours long anime. But as a game it's mediocre at best.

Forgotton Anne is a unique and strikingly cinematic experience, which makes a valiant attempt to unify the finesse of anime films with interactive gameplay.
The story won't shock and disturb you as much as Game of Thrones might, but it's a story anyone can engage with. It'll even have you reeling in genuine grief when you've distilled an old sock.
In terms of gameplay, there are certainly titles that offer greater variety and complexity, but the beautiful visuals, fantastic soundtrack, compelling story and likable characters easily elevate Forgotton Anne to the level of being a truly excellent game.
Despite its title, Forgotton Anne is far from forgettable. Its story is deep, its characters are nuanced, and its journey is emotional and powerful. Unfortunately, its stiff platforming and uninspired puzzles hold it back from being a must-play. For fans of adventure games, Forgotton Anne is a surprising gem that'll provide plenty of memorable moments over the course of its 7- to 8-hour run. For those looking for a more cohesive melding of story and gameplay, however, there are simply better options available.
If you like Studio Ghibli's movies, you will like Forgotton Anne as well.

While it doesn't fully deliver on its exciting premise and while flaws in its gameplay may hinder the fun at times, Forgotton Anne is still an enjoyable journey into a memorable fantasy world full of interesting characters and stories.

With Forgotton Anne, Danish-based ThroughLine Games have managed to take the player in the heart of a narrative adventure, with neat gameplay mechanics, but could be too easy for most playerss
Above all else, Forgotton Anne is a wonderful game that is more focused on the story than groundbreaking gameplay. And in this case, I am perfectly fine with that. The story does have some twists and turns that you might see coming, yet your decision making makes these story aspects intriguing and emotional.
This title will 've remembered for the game that was also an anime
Forgotton Anne provides escapism to a dark dystopian realm where you will question your own values in an amazing story-driven experience. The production value and experience is one that highly recommended.
Forgotten Anne is an Adventure-Platformer game that can offer a joyful experience. Although for a very small amount of time. The artistic design, compelling storytelling and lovely characters are some of the most important features of this game and they are the ones that ensure that Forgotten Anne remains gravitating for all gamers

To conclude, I found this game to be a breath of fresh air. It's intricate storyline, puzzle solving and dynamic environment kept me interested from start to finish. I give this game a 9 for it was almost a masterpiece, but hopefully in future updates they can fix those small bugs.
