Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Reviews
For what it is, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD knocks it out of the park. From the simplicity, approachability, and variability of the gameplay to the fun aesthetics and music, Banana Blitz HD has a level of quality and self-awareness that many games (especially those for younger audiences) lack nowadays. At the end of it all, this game is a complete joy to play, full stop.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD's steady increase in difficulty and well-ported physics engine made it easy to jump right in and get that Super Monkey Ball experience that's been missing from my life.
After nearly 14 years Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is still an entertaining piece of software despite some minor flaws.

Anyone with any love of Monkey Ball would be doing themselves a disservice not picking up a way better version of a game that was hindered by motion control.
While I don’t believe that this is the first step in the revitalization of the franchise, and doubt we’ll see a new Super Monkey Ball game any time soon, it’s still awesome to see this game come back to life for people like myself who never got into the series back then.
Regardless, Banana Blitz HD is the definitive version of an era of Monkey Ball that desperately needs to make a comeback by either remaking the original two games or a creating new entry altogether. This is one of those instances where the quality of life improvements are noticeable, and it's worth your money being able to play it on the go at all.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD promises the old and trusted gameplay but with an all new graphic layout that promises hours of fun.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is a beautiful remaster of an oft-maligned entry in the series. It's far from perfect, but there's a lot of fun to be had mastering its courses.
Although there are a few aspects I didn’t like, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD was a fun game to play for the first time. I’m not the biggest fan of the controls, as the wobble-camera made things a little confusing and frustratingly more difficult that it had to be, but the nostalgic gameplay left me with a smile – when I wasn’t shouting due to an unfair death or tumble. The Time Attack and Decathlon modes will keep you busy if going for the platinum, and allows you to prove you really do have the best handle on your Monkey Balls! The party games are a nice bonus but considering forty of them were removed, I wouldn’t consider this a multiplayer game anymore, you’ll get the most entertainment out of playing it on your own.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is a great remake that solves many of its predecessor's problems, but it's still plagued by a wacky camera and a general lack of content.

While I’m sure there have been minor changes made from the original release, I still have to say this has been a rather fun experience, one that I’m glad that I didn’t turn down since it seems that this game is a small step in the direction of bringing the series back to life.
If you are a saga lover or you are one of those who likes games that are a real challenge we can not do anything other than recommend this Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. Of course, prepare large doses of patience especially if you intend to get all the champion medals.

From the start I was always a fan of the Super Monkey Ball series...
As a return effort the core of Super Monkey Ball is there with Banana Blitz HD, it'll just be hard to turn people onto it unless you're going in with a solo mindset. If you haven't ever experienced monkeys in balls before and plan on coming in as a rogue agent, that budget pricing helps.
The new remaster version of Super Monkey Ball is a good choice to have fun without huge pretensions. Revive old experiences in any platform.

As fun as its original release, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD could have included more extras to justify its remastered relaunch, because Sonic, no matter how cool it is, is not enough.

Despite the steep difficulty curve and lack of any real new content, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD is a noted improvement over the original version of the game.
The developers have taken away motion controls, made it a bit more challenging, and added two new modes. Yet, for better or worse, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD plays the same as the original.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is a job of remastering well done, as we would like to see more often applied also to titles of greater appeal.
