F1 2018 Reviews
Following a series high last year, F1 2018's welcome additions don't add up to a meaningfully fresh experience.
There's no big feature to point towards, but small improvements make F1 2018 stand out as a superlative racer.
The improvements to F1 2018 since the already-impressive F1 2017 are largely incremental and often very subtle – and there are still a few areas where it's openly coasting on previous efforts – but F1 2018 features the finest handling and force feedback for a dedicated F1 game to date, some welcome visual improvements, and a career mode that does a better job than ever at capturing the nuances of the world's most-popular motorsport.
Saying that you can have just as much fun in the shop as behind the wheel seems weird, but in the case of F1 2018's career mode, it's true.
Codemasters still delivers enough immersion and participation in this fantasy to keep it from feeling repetitive, even if on paper, it sounds like it should be.
F1 2018 nails a new lap record with its most complete package to date.
F1 2018 offers the improved elements that make it the best game that last year. The additions perfect a remarkable proposal that enjoys the balance to please the most purists of the sport and who want only to enjoy the F1 races without difficulties.

F1 2018 takes the existing blueprint and adds many small elements to create one reasonably sized step forward. There are enough differences here to warrant a purchase over last year's edition. F1 2018 is easily the best Formula 1 game yet, but next time, small changes may not be enough.
F1 2018 isn't without flaw or area of opportunity, but the engine that powers its positives revs much louder than the noise made by its few skid marks. This is truly one of the best racing games you'll ever play.
A complete and satisfying Formula 1 game, a must have for the discipline's fans.

This is easily the best the series has ever been, in both gameplay and presentation. Fans will love the realism, newcomers will enjoy the benefits of the assists and the ever-present rewind function (it's wonderful for correcting your mistakes and learning from them), but everyone can simply enjoy a good race.
This year's official Formula One game is the closest yet to the real racing driver experience. You'll even need to brush up on your TV interview technique
F1 2018, just as with last year's game, is a game worthy of your attention and something fans of the franchise will love. It's stunning to look at, excellent fun to drive in, and the single-player mode has more than enough depth to keep keener players entertained.
F1 2018 provides a truly authentic racing sim experience that should satisfy enthusiasts, but might scare away casual race fans.
With challenging racing and a diverse car management system, F1 2018 is filled with endless opportunity. Although undeniably similar to last season's effort, small changes have improved the overall experience enough to merit a revisit. And, ultimately, F1 2018 takes the chequered flag as the best F1 instalment to date.
If you're a fan of Formula 1 or even if you've given it a cursory glance when it's on at the pub then there's a lot to enjoy here.
It is remarkable how far Codemasters have come with the F1 series and F1 2018 has proven that a move towards simulation can be done without alienating casual players. Finally a spectacular Formula 1 experience for simulation fans.

F1 2018 is by far the best F1 racing sim that has ever been made. It has the graphics, career mode, and blissful racing to make anyone go ga-ga. It is also no better than the F1 2017 from last year in virtually every way.
