Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Reviews
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker offers a unique puzzle experience that is full of content and compelling missions that can hook the player into saying “just one more level” over and over again. Although the game certainly has its moments where gameplay can get slow and frustrating, especially with the Pixel Toad missions, the overall experience is not ruined by these moments. Captain Toad is a fast and rewarding puzzle platformer game that has gone underappreciated on the Switch. It is the perfect game to pick up while waiting for Nintendo to release their more anticipated titles.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on the 3DS may not be the most anticipated game of all time but this is a sharp and efficient conversion of the game that has already been released for the Wii U and Switch and one which is in no way dwarfed by its more technical advanced counterparts.

If you want a cute little puzzle game to sink a couple of dozen hours of relatively enjoyable gameplay in to, by all means, pick up Captain Toad. It is a solid game well worth the price point. But it is mostly meant for the hard core Nintendo fan or the younger crowd.
Overall, Treasure Tracker is a real gem of a game.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fantastic, beautiful and very nice puzzle game for all the public. Also, based on the duration of each scenario, it is a fantastic option to play with a portatil platform like Switch or 3DS.

The Toad and Toadette adventure has made the leap to the Nintendo Switch, but is more suitable for handheld than TV mode. Apart from that, the actual treasure hunt in over 70 levels remains irresistibly cuddly and entertaining - and hopefully forms the basis for a real second part.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a great, charming, fun to play and replay puzzle game, and will probably become as comfort food for your Switch.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker brings some fantastic puzzle gameplay to the Switch, and gives a Wii U classic another chance at life. If you missed it before, it's well worth grabbing now.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on the Switch version is certainly the definitive way to play. Boasting brilliant level design, puzzle creation and ingenuity. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is easily one of the best titles on the Switch, and deserves a second chance to shine.
Controls are really my biggest complaint but, overall, the game is still fantastic and worth playing. The worlds are vibrantly-colored, the courses are fun, and there is plenty of challenge in store for every type of player. If you've been looking for a relaxing puzzle-platformer to play in between your other Switch titles, you won't find a better one than this.
If you missed this game on Wii U (and far too many did) don't let it pass you by again. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is great on any Nintendo system. Don't take my word for it, try the demo for yourself.
Just like his grand adventure, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is simply a delight to experience in the unique and puzzling world he explores.
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is the same compelling puzzle adventure that it was on the Wii U, but now on a system that feels far more suited to its bite-sized levels and rapid pace. Its strange control quirks in docked mode make it a less alluring prospect at home, but if you're looking to kill some time anywhere else you'd struggle to find something this good to scratch that itch.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is the perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is an elegant puzzle game based on the miniature gardening, which focuses on making full use of space and resources to explore various kinds of gameplay. The Nintendo Switch version perfectly adapts the new platform, and some new features and new levels make it even more fun.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a game I never thought I'd see on the 3DS, and I could never have imagined it being ported so smoothly. With no compromise to the gameplay experience, this is Captain Toad. On the 3DS. If you want wonderful puzzles, colourful and diverse environments, replayability, and challenge. If you're ready for an adventure I would call timeless, you are ready for Captain Toad.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is fundamentally strong with a solid core idea and great level design, but doesn't succeed beyond that. A more cohesive atmosphere, extra camera options, and deliberate mechanical progression could've made the experience far more satisfying. The conversion to the Switch brings along its own problems as well, making it hard to call this version definitive. As it stands, the game is a fun but forgettable adventure.
A really fun puzzle game with lots of different levels and only minor issues.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fantastic title for the Nintendo Switch which is filled with a lot of smartly designed levels which are a hoot to play. Though I feel it doesn't have enough new content to warrant purchasing again (though those Odyssey levels are pretty amazing), I would urge anyone who never checked out the original to dip into this version on the Nintendo Switch!
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker remains remarkable even after four years later, it managed to mix platforming and puzzle games in a welcoming way to all sorts of players.
