Overall, I enjoyed Crash Team Racing. Racing karts can be brutal, but fun. Adventure modes boss battles feel a tad bit unfair though. As each boss seems to have a gimmick that no ordinary kart racer usually has. Take Ripper Roo for example, who’s extremely fast and has unlimited TNT.
It's more than a full remake. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled feels like the definitive edition of past Crash racing games full of content and unlockables. This new take also remains colorful, fun, intense and just as challenging as the original.

That being said, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled proves that simplicity and nostalgia, with a few modern tweaks, works wonders. At $40, you can't beat a fun remake that covers content from three games over the span of six years
A wonderful, nostalgic trip that brings an old favourite back with substance and style. Despite one or two significant issues, it looks, sounds and feels better than you remember it. And while not perfect yet, it's the first game in some time that even comes close to knocking the Big N off their kart-racing pedestal.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a high-octane blast that is rich in content, and a ton of fun to play. While the occasional difficulty spike can frustrate at times, Beenox have promised a series of free, seasonal updates that contain new tracks, customisations, and events, giving everybody plenty of opportunity to "get good."
Once I changed the controls to something more comfortable, I had a blast playing through the well-crafted adventure mode and all the tracks and challenges that reside in it, even if the CPU players had the rubber band effect.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a great Kart racing game with a difficult learning curve. It suffers from some minor technical issues on the Nintendo Switch but overall, it is a solid port that plays beautifully on the hardware.
The game is very distinctive and the revival of a great Kart classic is well crafted ,online problems are what bother the experience and some other simple technical problems

Nitro-Fueled gives Crash Team Racing a much-needed visual facelift while keeping the first-rate kart racing mechanics intact. The small amount of single player content doesn't give you much to do by yourself, but the healthy helping of multiplayer modes and unforgiving AI provide plenty of reasons to keep you coming back.
Crash Team Racing has long been remembered fondly by players and Beenox's Nitro-Fueled remaster proves, for the most part, we haven't been blinded by nostalgia.
Fully-remastered Crash Bandicoot is back on track and he is still fast and funny.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's sheer amount of content and modes make it the best kart racer value on the market today. Packing both skill and charm, this is one title worth its weight in Wumpa Fruits.
The game as a whole looks great, it is funny, it is frustrating to lose at it (figures) and it is an overall great experience that any player, young or old, should try.
I can't shake the feeling that if Nintendo's online infrastructure was more robust, the loading minimized, and the coins were able to be earned when offline, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled would be an instant masterpiece and torch-bearer for remakes of beloved games. Sadly, it falls just short of such a title.

The amount of game modes, characters and customization elements, as well as the online and offline multiplayer components and the solid gameplay make this a very healthy proposal for fans of the series and of kart-racing games.

WOAH! Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a fun remake that plays well, with weaknesses being unlockables and the Crash property itself.
