undefined.While the roughshod nature of the Switch port doesn't quite make Crash Team Racing a dominant kart racer on the system, the solid single-player mode and finicky yet rewarding boosting and driving still adds up to an enjoyable time, as long as you're fine with a visual downgrade and a long wait between races. I really enjoyed revisiting Crash Team Racing with Nitro-Fueled and it reminded me of how great the single-player component of this game is. I just wish there weren't such large caveats that held it back on Switch.
Crash Bandicoot fans will certainly be happy, and are likely already on board. Those looking for a challenge will have a good time chasing trophies. Casual/Party players who like kart games probably will want to stick with Sonic and Mario.

Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is definitely a great remake. A product cared for in every detail that keeps the soul of that CTR that we liked so much as children. Unfortunately time passes, although 20 years ago CTR was an original title, today it is not. The work of Beenox is very valuable and they tried to update the formula, where possible, at best but did not keep up with the main competitor Mario Kart. Some aspects and tracks have aged badly. CTR Nitro Fueled is still a great product and above all it remains in our hearts. I am delighted to be able to retrace my memories by going back to when I used to gas myself by hitting someone with a bomb.

Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is an awesome remake I would love to have played more of…if I were able to. I'm really hoping for an update or some word from Activision support so I can really get into the game and play some online matches.

Nitro-Fueled is a wonderful remake of the classic racer we all know and love. The mechanics and courses are lovingly recreated for the current gen. Combine that with a revamped Adventure mode and players have another faithful, fantastic game. Though I wouldn't say it's a perfect game due to its difficulty and pretty short story, I don't think it is crazy to say that Crash Team Racing is the best kart racing game available.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is at once a joyful and joyless recreation of a stone-cold classic. Packed to the gills with content, this drive down memory lane still contains a sense of the original's magic, and artfully decorates your favorite tracks and drivers with an impeccable attention to detail. But it's not immune to the modern era, and the looming threat of live-service DLC and nostalgia-grabbing looms heavy over the entire game.
Hardcore CTR fans and those looking for a surprisingly-stiff challenge should give Nitro-Fueled a shot, but others might find it runs out of gas surprisingly quick.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a faithful recreation of a beloved racer from the PS1 era of games, even if the difficulty ranges from boring to annoying.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled delivers a fun karting experience, with a ton of content and just some minor issues that hold it back from greatness.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Review is a fast paced racer and a great remaster. There is a lot of content next to the somewhat short campaign. Also online racing is added. The game is huge and comes racing around the corner with a lot of fun.

In 1999, Crash Team Racing was a lot of fun. 20 years later, it's still a lot of fun. Nitro-fueled is a faithful recreation with some meaningful additions that I'll be revisiting frequently for years to come.
As a remake, it offers a lot of content and renews the classic gameplay as much as possible with the technical area being very carefully constructed.

But for the time being, having an old kart racer like CTR, drive itself back into our lives, is definitely welcome. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is well worth the pick-up if you’re looking to go back to the days of old, and experience classic kart racing, even online with your mates this time. It does prove something though, even with a new lick of paint, Crash Team Racing still holds up to today’s standards of kart racers.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is an amazing and agile kart racer that compares with the original game which keeps pulling me forward and there is always something to learn and there is still something to play. The online lobby always been full at Switch.

However, the fact that the racing is fast, frantic, and fun just reminds me that Activision and Beenox have done a great thing by bringing back Crash Team Racing, and I plan on continuing to enjoy it for as long as I can.
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled in a worthy "successor" of the original game and compulsory purchase for lovers of racing games, whether they played the PSX classic or not.
