Romancing SaGa 3 Reviews
On November 11, 1995, the Super Famicom system saw the release of an epic turn-based RPG. 24 years later, to the day, Romancing SaGa 3, makes its debut to the West for the first time. The remaster brings improved graphics as well as some other functions to the current generation of consoles. The JRPG brings a wonderful world back to life for all to enjoy.
There wasn't a moment of Romancing SaGa 3 that I did not love.
Romancing Saga 3 is a modern SNES RPG, for better or worse.
Between Romancing SaGa 3 and two more English SaGa games on the horizon, it's a good time to be a devotee of this oddball RPG series. Let me hear your rallying cry, SaGa fans: "There are dozens of us! Dozens!"
A difficult game only suitable for veteran players. One of the most challenging JRPG come, finally, to Europe.

Romancing SaGa 3 is a strange game. I like some of its oddities, but others not so much. The game is a bit of a mess. It is, however, a really pretty mess with a great soundtrack. There is a lot of good here, but I just wish it wasn't so bogged down with nonsense.
When it comes to a non-linear JRPG experience, none have done it better than Romancing SaGa 3.
The Romancing SaGa 3 remastered is the perfect opportunity to recover an excellent old school JRPG, without having to rely on amateur translations and pirated Roma.

With all of these upgrades and extra content on top of an already rock-solid game, picking up Romancing SaGa 3 for many is a no brainer. Granted, the combat and leveling up might not be for everyone, but if you are a fan of Western and Japanese RPGs I highly recommend jumping into this classic that took way too long to make its way out west.
If you’ve never dabbled in the works of Kawazu, the release of this remaster is as good a time as any.
It’s both easy and difficult to recommend Romancing SaGa 3 as it’s a title that you’ll either love or hate with very little room for a middling response.
Against the odds, Square Enix gives this unique and wonderful classic RPG a solid remaster for the Western audience.
Romancing SaGa 3 is a game that is easier to respect for some of its design choices that were better realized in some later games than simply for being fun.
This is a faithful recreation of Romancing Saga 3 bringing back this classic JRPG to modern platforms. There are some additional features but the most appealing part of this port is that the game is now officially playable with English localization.
Romancing SaGa 3 isn’t for newcomers to the RPG genre, but it’s an excellent and complex game that JRPG fanatics will certainly appreciate. It can be ridiculously vague at times, but the game’s non-linear structure and plethora of well-developed mechanics make it a truly unique and enjoyable game.
Romancing Saga 3 is an ambitious JRPG, with great story and fun gameplay systems that despite taking too long to come to the west and seeming a little outdated, should be played by fans of the genre.

On narrative ambition alone, Romancing SaGa 3 deserves a spot alongside the coveted RPGs of the Super Nintendo era.
Europe has been waiting 24 years for a playable version of Romancing SaGa 3, and the wait is finally over: what we have is a unique and challenging RPG, which is worth to be played even today, even if for a hefty price.

Romancing SaGa 3 is an interesting work of the last century. The gameplay offers freedom like no other game from 90s. The visual and sound style of the remastered gives the title a second life. However, the history is a disappointment that offers interesting concepts, but at the end of the day, it does not achieve something memorable.
