The sequel to the critically acclaimed Vermintide is still great first-person co-op slaughter-fest.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 manages to improve on its predecessor in just about every way, resulting in a structurally familiar but highly entertaining co-op experience with a surprising amount of depth and variety in its character and difficulty progression.
Vermintide II feels like a predictable step in a fantastic direction. It's retained all of the bits of its predecessor that felt novel, and its gone the extra mile creating an ocean of foes that feel trickier and deadlier than ever before.
In the end, if you fancy going for better loot, fight more powerful enemies, and unlock all kinds of cool items, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 seems like a dream come true. Even with the bugs and the slightly unbalanced system, it's a game that still tricks me somehow into playing just one more map.
If you're into co-op gaming then Vermintide 2 is essential.
FatShark has done a fantastic job of taking their first game and improving on every single aspect. The recurring theme of offering players a variety of tools, characters and enemies to face leads to a crescendo of unique moments that are all entirely player driven. While the difficulty spikes can be frustrating, part of the fun in Vermintide 2 is being against the odds and prevailing.
The core gameplay of the original Vermintide was an incredibly strong formula that was wrapped in a package that didn't live up to the same level of quality. The sequel, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, has clearly taken what was learned from that game to heart and delivered an awfully gleeful gameplay loop. Hop into a match, lop off a few heads, gain experience and gear, and next time, lop off stouter heads while carrying a couple of grims. Vermintide 2 is exemplary of what the genre can become, and it's an especially great reason to grab some friends, sit down, and slay a few thousand foes.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is an intense, and challenging experience. The battles are violent and bloody, and the weapons are fun to use with a nice feeling of impact. The characters and their classes are perfectly balanced and thus fun to play, while levels designes are atmospheric, colorful, interseting, and filled with memorable vistas. However, Lack of dedicated servers and poor voicechat user experience can ruin the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is one of my best experiences of 2018 and certainly one of the best among other similar games. It is an amazing and deep co-op action game that has so many to offer to gamers. Gameplay elements, combat mechanics, art style, world theme and also atmosphere of Warhammer Vermintide 2, feels like a balanced mixture of Skyrim, Lord of the Rings and Middle Earth series for me. Either you are a big fan of first person action games or not, Warhammer Vermintide 2 is a high quality and valuable game that i recommend for any taste.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a precious title who aims for a specific type of gamers, those who are ready to sacrifice everything in order to just have fun with their friends, and that fun factor is exactly the reason why you wouldn't care about the game's problems that much.

If you enjoyed Left 4 Dead or Vermintide, this is a no-brainer. If you enjoy the Warhammer Fantasy world, this is as close as we currently have to being in it (though who wants that exactly?).
Like comfort food for the hack and slash enthusiast, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is supported ably by its co-op action. Loot/progression dynamics, the odd few bugs and some repetitive action aside, it does warrant a closer look.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 improves many elements of the first episode and is a true postcard from the End Times.

An extremely satisfying coop combat game with a very frustrating balance and loot system.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is an engaging, challenging multiplayer game that succeeds in spite of loot and matchmaking issues thanks to clever level design and thrilling combat.
Even though there's a deep and rewarding RPG-lite customisation system in place, it still comes down to strategy, working as a team, and being, well, good enough to takedown a Spawn of Chaos when your team's back is literally against the wall. And then survive whatever end-game scenario a mission might throw at you.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 knows what made its predecessor an enjoyable time and brings improvements that Xbox One players now get to experience at a fantastic price of £23.
Everything that made the first Warhammer: Vermintide so good, while tuning and fixing the loot concerns. Vermintide 2 is an amazing and fun time for those who love the Warhammer universe and those who aren't familiar with it. Chaotic, fast-paced, full of character and with more than enough gameplay to keep you coming back.
