Just Cause 4 Reviews
Just Cause 4 offers the most diverse and beautiful Playground of the Series so far and finally optimized some parts from Just Cause 3 like the generic enemies and repeated order of missions. The Apex Engine delivers an amazing performance (PC Version) and we can recommend this game even with its unfinished cutscenes and a lot of arduous NPC accompanying missions.

Just Cause 4 refines everything that made its predecessor great. It's still one of the most generous and bombastic open world games, but its new systems don't progress the sandbox as much as they should.
If you love open world games that let you loose to just play with things and see what kind of mayhem you can create, there's no better series than Just Cause 4. And while this holiday season is filled to the brim with new games, I would strongly advise against sleeping on Rico's latest adventure. It's one you'll be guaranteed to have dozens of hours of fun with. Recommended.
With its extreme weather scenarios and the familiar, over-the-top usage of Rico's grapple gun, wingsuit and parachute, Just Cause 4 is the most ridiculous and best it has ever been.
Still delivers the series' sandbox mayhem, but is underserved by some pretty dated systems.
The pros and cons shout over one another constantly, and I think that’s why I find it such a frustrating game to play
The latest adventure of Rico Rodriguez, with its good dose of adrenaline and over-the-top action, forces our hero to embark on a real impossible mission to dismantle the dangerous Project Illapa. Despite the lack of variety and the exaggerated length of the campaign, Just Cause 4 still manages to push the boundaries of players' imagination, dragging them once again into a world of destruction, explosions and pure chaos.

Just Cause 4 is the most essential game in the series, perfecting years of blowing things up in the most creative ways. While the narrative doesn't have any lasting impact, the overall package delivers as video game comfort food.
In spite of trotting out a premise that's been done to death, Just Cause 4 remains fresh thanks to its creative gameplay features and varied missions. With explosions aplenty and stunning visuals, there's little amiss with this over the top entry in the series
Just Cause 4 succeeds in being a chaotic open world in which ammunition tricks and vehicles are always on.

Beautiful, explosive, and endlessly creative - but hampered by similarities to its predecessor, some repetitive mission design, and not many leaps forward in its core mechanics.
Solis is a huge island, which allows for a realistic distribution of targets, and environmental diversity. There's some pleasure to be had exploring its various environs of city, jungle, mountain and beach-fronts, making use of an almost infinite variety of vehicles.
If you enjoyed the last game in the series then Just Cause 4 will give you a lot of fun creating explosions across the world, it just doesn’t push the series in any meaningful direction.
Fun open-world action spectacle, which could cost graphic inadequacies and a few barren missions sympathy.

I plan to chip away at Just Cause 4 over the next week or two and hopefully write a definitive review at some point. Between the technical issues, the drab story, and the baffling mission structure though I’m feeling pretty disappointed so far.
Featuring a deep and diverse world, addictive action gameplay, and a fantastic new engine, Just Cause 4 is easily the best game in the series, hands down.
In Just Cause 4 you will have fun making things explode and exploring the map in the most different ways, but don't expect a great depth of play.

Just Cause 4 is a slightly better version of Just Cause 3's destruction-fueled action, but lacks a big new idea to give it an identity of its own.
Weather effects and party balloons see a knockabout charmer return in decent form.
