If I was to summarise F1 2019, it’s basically F1 2018 with a little more fan service thrown in for good measure. For some, that’s all they’ll have wanted and expected. For me, this year’s minor additions just weren’t enough.
F1 2019 retains immaculate handling and visuals while adding cinematic spectacle and junior series racing.
More extensive, fancier and better. Meaningful innovations and a real story mode secure F1 2019 the place at the top of the podium.

Ten years after getting the license, Codemasters keeps showing its commitment with Formula 1. Thanks to the small improvements here and there, F1 2019 is one of the most complete Formula 1 games ever made.

So, should you consider upgrading from F1 2018 to 2019 or making your first purchase of an F1 game this year?
F1 2019 adds the FIA Formula 2 race cars and some minor improvements to the celebrated formula of its official racer, plus the epic rivalry between Senna and Prost in the Legends Edition of the game. An episode which is more about new contents than structural changes. And that is okay.

F1 2019 takes all the elements of the previous games and adds a very thin layer of polish. The introduction of F2 makes Career Mode a little more exciting, and the racing gameplay and graphics are still top notch, but there's no getting away from the fact that this is really just F1 2018 again.
With the inclusion of F2 and an even more comprehensive career mode, F1 2019 is the biggest game in the series to date and quite possibly the best.
F1 2019 is easily the closest thing yet to the real F1 racing experience, making it the most satisfying and complete Formula 1 game in years.
For F1 fans, the improvements and new content found in F1 2019 make it an absolute must-buy. It’ll feel familiar in many ways, but everything is just so polished and refined that it won’t bother you all that much.

Just make sure you get the regular edition, and don’t be tempted into their pesky microtransactions!
F1 2019 is the best release in the series so far, but the iterative design of the franchise combined with Codemasters' trademark care and attention for racing makes that perhaps unsurprising.
F1 2019 brought enough upgrades to make this sufficient enough for the annual update. Leagues, the F2 series, the ability to finally save replay highlights and tweaking the racing to perfection makes this another must-own for fans.
When what you deliver works on multiple levels, you do not go looking to reinvent the wheel, but rather improve on what is there and branch off into different areas, which is exactly what Codemasters has done. F1 2019 will instantly be one of the top racers in your rotation of racing games, and the depth and options the game provides make F1 an absolute must-buy for all fans of the genre.
Excellence in Formula One. That's what comes to mind when it comes to summarize the qualities of F1 2019. Extremely complete, very well thought out at all levels, this 2019 edition has everything to seduce. Whether you are a motor sports enthusiast or a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed. F1 2019 encompasses the breadth of experiences, car choices, track choices that provide a far deeper experience for the player than would be available in a generic sim. That depth truly demonstrates the complexity of not only the hardware, but the ever-changing conditions during a race.
Simply put, F1 2019 is fantastic. There’s enough here to take you well into next season (and beyond), while the Career Mode has finally shaken off the cobwebs to emerge as a genuinely thrilling highlight that players will pump hours and days into.
F1 2019 does an amazing job, once again, at making you feel like an actual Formula 1 driver, and the attention to detail is what has always set this franchise apart. The inclusion of F2 into the F1 campaign is fantastic, but it would be great to see it extended.
