Tekken 7 is mechanically perfect with stylish gameplay and combos that are a joy to execute, however the game lacks in character story content and gameplay modes instead opting to offer a short but highly detailed story mode that focuses on the rivalry between Heihachi and his son Kazuya.

Tekken 7 has reached a peak for the franchise in terms of combat quality and character variety. However, some online issues and lack of diverse modes for both online and offline play hamstring the game a bit. Still, whether you are a Tekken fan or fighting veteran, or complete newcomer, there's a lot here to get stuck into.

Tekken 7 is here and I can only imagine it getting better. What's even more exciting is that it gave me and most of the other players, a new reason to memorize gamepad combinations, and to find new ways to humiliate our friends. And I know that I can't ask for anything more than that.

Tekken 7 is a fun and very deep fighting game with some great combat mechanics that will challenge your fighting skills. The story might be a weak point, but who cares about story in a fighting game anyway? Easily one of the best games in the Tekken franchise.

Tekken 7 is more of a sidestep than a total knockout for the series. It's broken online modes and sparse single player content leaves something to be desired, but those looking to throw down will appreciate its depth and complexity.

It plays like Tekken, it feels like Tekken, it looks like Tekken… and that's because it is Tekken, therefore, don't go in expecting something new and exciting. Thankfully, that doesn't mean that this isn't a very good fighter, as it's actually one of the most fun and balanced available in the genre, as long as you don't mind its strong mid-'90s 3D fighter vibe.

One of the most exhilarating and satisfying fighting games to date.

Even with the game's increased emphasis on multiplayer over single-player content, Tekken 7 remains a fun fighting game experience. The core mechanics are as tight as they've always been, and the new material adds some flair to rope in new players. The character roster is balanced between old and new fighters, with just about everyone getting some improvement to their skills. A good number of people are only interested in getting the fighters into ridiculous outfits. The PC iteration boasts a very healthy community and some nice graphical improvements over the console versions, so any gamer on the PC will be happy to have this fighting game in their grasp.

Tekken 7 almost reached an amazing quality of Tekken 3 and Tekken 5. It's one of the best entries in the series and can be recommended to both hardcore players and newcomers. With “easy to learn, hard to master” model you can spent dozen of hours training, fighting and training again — only to dig deeper into core mechanics and become a little bit better. Get ready for the next battle!

In a nutshell, Tekken 7 is one of the best fighting games that one can afford to buy, although its many parts consisting of its offline or online content are kinda semi-finished and thats a bit awkward since they had a lot of time after its release on the Arcade. But in overall, Tekken 7 is a sweet experience, even if not the best but still worth a while

If you're a fan of the series, Tekken 7 will blow your bloody socks off. And if not, well, it's still likely to impress if you give it the chance.

Regarding its gameplay and multiplayer, Tekken 7 provides the best: new mechanics, balance, great variety of characters and even a never before seen online mode. However, its single-player, something the series is appraised for, is a letdown. There are few options and the lone player, instead of playing them, will take his time customizing his characters.

In short, Tekken 7 is a phenomenal fighting game, but it's not without issues. Players have hundreds if not thousands of exciting matches to look forward to. Grasping the complexities of movement and learning characters is an involved process that'll cause anyone to lose track of time. However, the developer continues to focus their energies on features that simply aren't worth the trouble. The Mishima Saga, with its cheap battles and dishwater dull story, is a relic from an era best left forgotten. The broken matchmaking is also a very serious issue, so hopefully it's addressed in short order. Still, this fighter is highly recommended.

It might not be drastically different, but this entry is still a smooth and deep fighting game, not to mention exciting, with a large roster of characters, and a decent amount of content, while still being more suited for versus play.

In general, Tekken 7 has a much more technical structure than latest Injustice, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter games. The game's gameplay, graphics and performance are very pleasing. Story is very strong at some points and it's a great finale. But in terms of content, Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 are definitely better than this game. Especially the scenario mode of the game unfortunately has a duration of between one and two hours.

Tekken 7 not only brings back all the great memories of this impeccable fighting series, but offers some new combat tricks, too.

While the gaming system remains solid and to some extent accessible, TEKKEN 7 almost does not add to the legacy of the franchise. Individual modes are few, story mode is poorly achieved and although modes like Treasure Battle is addictive and fun, it is not enough.

I came away from Tekken 7 with a greater appreciation for the series than I went in. I enjoyed my time with the story mode, and it did help me to better understand the unique flow to combat that the game has. I also really enjoyed some of the newer characters; this game has a more rounded cast than previously. But I still struggle to get along with the approach to presentation.

Overall, this is a title that has stood the test of time and all the additional content is, in my opinion, justified. In addition to DLC, players also received updates that corrected not only bugs, but also the user interface for example, or supplied cosmetic accessories for free. Tekken 7 takes the recommendation of 8 points, which is a respectable number. It definitely ranks among the best games of its genre.
