SoulCalibur VI Reviews
New system and new changes make SoulCalibur VI become more friendly to new players than usual, and still remains the depth of strategy. What is more, you can spend plenty of time in both singleplayer mode and multiplayer mode, because it provides so much content that you will never get bored.

Soulcalibur VI revitalizes the once great franchise and returns it to the glory days of the first couple entries.
Soul Calibur VI revives a series that may have been lost to time by learning from what worked best and introducing creative and unique mechanics to its already solid gameplay.
SoulCalibur VI as a fighting game is all style over substance. While it retains most of its tactical combat it is easily the most user-friendly title in the series and for some longtime fans, that may be more discouraging than a return to form.
Soulcalibur VI ticks all the boxes I expect from a Soulcalibur game: its iconic characters, the compelling stories, fast yet measured movement, and a skill curve that allows newer players to jump in, but enough depth for masters to truly enjoy. It isn't perfect, and while its story mode feels dated in its presentation, the real issue is the lack of a real training mode that benefits all users. At the end of the day, though, it's fantastic to see Soulcalibur return to consoles (and finally come to PC!) in top form.
Soulcalibur VI's strengths lie in its willingness to cater to the people who will be playing it. This is a game that makes it easy for people of all skill levels to hop in and find a mode that suits them.
With a polished fighting system, deep story mode, and buckets of content, Soul Calibur VI is easily one of the best fighting games of the generation.
It's been more than six years since the last Soulcalibur game released, and it's clear that Bandai Namco took its time to make sure a stellar product was delivered. It's apparent that a huge amount of detail went into creating Soulcalibur VI and it's bursting at the seams with content. If you're looking for a different take on the 3D fighting genre then I heavily recommend this one.
Soulcalibur 6 represents a pseudo-reboot that re-establishes itself right where it needs to be – with a bright future for the crew at Project Soul to continue this tale of swords and souls… eternally retold
SoulCalibur VI is a statement game from Project Soul that does almost everything right. Smart gameplay refinements, a ton of content, the return of the original cast, and excellent teaching tools makes this the best SoulCalibur in years and prove that the soul still burns 20 years later.
Overall Bandai Namco did a fantastic job resurrecting the Soulcalibur franchise with the 6th version.
While the developer has said that if Soulcalibur VI doesn't do well we might not see a continuation of the series, this will surely nab a strong foothold in the genre and if we get a new entry. It will be interesting to see where it evolves to next, and with what kind of fan-driven refinements.
Soul Calibur VI is definitely steps in the right direction of reminding people why Bandai Namco has the best fighters not named Street Fighter, and I’m excited to see who else joins the fray in the series’ future.
Soul Calibur VI is a fantastic reboot that hearkens back to the golden age of fighting games where anyone could pick up a controller, get lost, and just -have fun-.
SoulCalibur VI tries to go back to its roots and mostly succeeds. It is far from being the game expected after waiting so long for the sixth entry, with low quality visuals, long loading times, and not much improvement over the same old combat, but if the return of old character favourites and that classic gameplay is what is sought after, this will do the job, with plenty to do for the solo player in story modes, although there is a lack of options outside of that.
If you're into fighting games, you don't want to miss SoulCalibur VI especially because its online multiplayer mode doesn't have all the headaches of Tekken 7. Also fights are quite fun enough to enjoy.

All in all, Soulcalibur VI is fun, despite all of its problems, and I think it's all that matters in a fighting game. If we also take into account the developer's propensity to bring in characters from other games, such as The Witcher or Sonic, it moves the game to another meta-level. And that's definitely something that players will want.
Another worthy entry into the series that still distinguishes itself from the rest. Diverse characters, unique mechanics, and pick-up-and-play nature make it extremely accessible. Despite a few fumbles in training modes and mediocre story elements, Soulcalibur VI is a great fighter at its core.
Soulcalibur VI fills the gap between casual fighting games and serious e-sports disciplines. It has great mechanics, which are easy to learn for newcomers, and perfect character editor. But most important of all is that Soulcalibur VI is really interesting to play.
