Dead or Alive 6 Reviews
Dead or Alive 6 is amazing. It’s the best looking fighting game out there, bar none, and has a combat system that is both instantly accessible for newcomers, without feeling condescending, and yet also offering plenty of depth and complexity for experienced fans.
Dead or Alive 6 manages to deliver in almost every category you could want. Even if the story isn't that exciting, it's fantastic to look at and some of the characters are a lot of fun to see interact with the world around them. Single players have plenty to see, with online being a little lackluster. Combine this with a fair amount of costumes, thrilling visuals and fantastic mechanics and it makes for an experience worth trying.
For fighting fans, this is a must play.
The culmination of over two decades of refinement, resulting in fluid, accessible, and balanced combat mechanics. While the game's lurid focus on flesh will divide opinion, it remains one of the most polished and fully-featured fighting games in recent years.Jack Ridsdale
Dead or Alive 6 is more accessible than ever, but it's still most definitely and unapologetically Dead or Alive, and that's exactly what it should be.
Dead or Alive 6 is a great game that is easy for anyone to pick up and has the depth to last fighting game fans a long time.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is out today for Playstation 4, and PC via Steam. Have we swayed you on the game? Why not pick up a copy?
So was seven years worth waiting for a new entry to Dead or Alive? Yes. Alongside the like of the newest Soul Calibur and the upcoming Mortal Kombat, this is a good time to be a fan of these titles. With both a new story to follow and plenty of other modes to keep yourself and others occupied as you go head to head, Dead or Alive 6 is a great new entry into the series and worth picking up.
Dead or Alive 6 is an excellent fighting game. The graphics are very beautiful, the fights are dynamic and the new gameplay mechanics are interesting. The available modes are also good, especially the DOA Quest and all the tutorials and challenges. However, DOA 6 has its problems, such as story mode and the little variety of costumes (many only change the color). However, the absence of many basic functionalities in the online at its launch, even if they come later, is something that we can not ignore unfortunately.

Taking its place as my favourite fighting game this generation, Dead or Alive 6 is so addictive! When you’re not trying to achieve all three stars in each of the 104 quests, you’ll be either fighting a stranger online, training for your next fight or working your way through the rather messy story mode. The narrative may not be one of the best out there but the game delivers where it counts, in the combat mechanics and performance. Delivering both a resolution or framerate mode on the PS4 Pro, Dead or Alive 6 ensures it remains stable whichever option you decide to go with.
Provided Koei Tecmo keeps the characters and content updates coming Dead or Alive 6 should keep fighting game fans busy for years to come.
While it does have some issues, the core gameplay of Dead or Alive 6 is fluid and brilliantly fun. It's certainly the best in the series so far.
Dead or Alive 6 is the first great fighter of the year. It proves that once you strip the "fan service" away, you see how deep and masterful the core combat can truly be.
Accessible for beginners and at the same time tactical enough for professionals. Dead or Alive shows off its best in Part 6.

With a decent roster, great accessibility, and fun gameplay, Dead or Alive 6 is a solid entry, and worth your time if you're a fan of the series.
Even with the lack of a tag team mode and the issues present in how costume pattern parts are utilized, Dead or Alive 6 still stands as the most refreshing entry in the series.
Dead or Alive 6 is ridiculously fun and endlessly charming!
I wish I could say this was the definitive Dead or Alive experience. I really do. That honor still belongs to Dead or Alive 4. There’s an insane amount of fun to be had in DOA6, and it truly is a great game for pure fighting mechanics and unique characters.
