Fe Reviews
Despite its magical atmosphere, Fe does not manage to leave a lasting impression.

A large part of your enjoyment in Fe basically depends on how much you enjoy figuring things out and how fast things click for you. There will be folks who will absolutely enjoy Fe's nontraditional gameplay and getting lost in its mysterious world. Others will pine for a Goomba or a power-up — anything familiar that would help them make sense of what the game is all about. Just like art, Fe's merits as a masterpiece or hack will lie purely in the eye of the beholder.
Fe is a fantastically gorgeous game that invites you to get lost and discover life.
Zoink Games' Fe may be occasionally rough around the edges and gameplay derivative, but failure to look beyond that is missing the forest for the trees. The exquisite audio direction and artstyle help build on a world to create mystique across the board. Even better, a hands-off approach to gameplay allows those willing to invest the time an avenue to organically explore and fix the broken world left behind.
Fe is filled with rote tasks, and its hyper-stylized imagery impedes attempts at emotional connection.
With FE, Zoink Games proves that it have the trust of Electronic Arts with a 3D platform with a different and visually stunning artistic design.

Fe is an enchanting game featuring dazzling artistic quality of the graphics, which is arguably its main thrust. The gameplay is not as impressive, but it is efficient and diverse enough to keep you entertained for a few hours.

Like Unravel before it, Fe is another triumph for the EA Originals program as Zoink don't hesitate to flex their creative muscle. Despite a few foibles, the core mechanics are sound enough. Though it's in its world-building and artistic direction that Fe truly shines, with a spacious map that sparks the kindling of exploration and ignites that love for adventure.
Fe is simple yet complex, stylised and engaging. A six-hour affair, it's perfect for those who found delight in Journey and, to a lesser degree, Ori and the Blind Forest. For others, it might be too much style over substance.
Fe is a true gem amongst adventure games. It's a wonderfully executed idea for a charming fantasy world.

Fe is a wonderful experience that asks you to think a bit, while also entertaining you with a silent story and majestic moments that are Journey-esque. The gameplay for Fe is well designed, fits the bill for what is going on and does its best to make sure you're entertained and challenged.
Fe is an artsy and clunky platformer that feels artsy for arts sake. The story is barely there, the movement isn't fun, and it is an all-around let down.
Fe is dreamy and looks the part but doesn't completely immerse one in its whimsical setting. It's a trip that's fairly painless but doesn't offer much more than a few amazing highlights.
It would've been easy for Fe to get lost in its potentially naval-gazing pretentiousness, and admittedly the overuse of post-processing as well as the story's disjointed ambiguity does lend a degree of disconnect, but Fe mostly does enough with its gameplay and world-building for this brief adventure to offer a satisfactory level of enjoyment.
Fe is a cute platform that you won't remember.

In the end Fe certainly looks the part but doesn't quite have enough memorable moments or feeling of discovery to match its ambitious design.
Fe is an enjoyable puzzle platformer with an adorable protagonist. The camerawork and murky narratives could both be improved, but neither prevents this from being a fun, forest adventure.
If you are looking for a decent, relatively short (4-6 hours) adventure game with a great art style, Fe will definitely scratch that itch. I just wish the platforming was tighter and more responsive.
Dreamy and magic, Fe's mysterious world feels pretty and imaginative on Switch, despite some frame rate drops in portable/table mode.

Fe is a decent platform adventure game with a beautiful art style, but its flaws are too obvious to ignore.
