Super Mega Baseball 2 Reviews
Super Mega Baseball 2 improves and polishes an already fun arcade game that any baseball fan should consider at the price of $29.99 (it's even free on Xbox One if you have a Gold subscription).
Super Mega Baseball 2 looks like a straightforward arcade game and it can be if you want it to be – but there's a surprising amount of depth to this colourful sequel that will keep you coming back. The game's vibrant presentation and frenetic flow set it apart from MLB The Show, and its raft of customisation options mean that you can tailor it to your tastes. Some cumbersome controls can grate, but if you're looking for a baseball game a little less serious than Sony's, then this is a great alternative.
On the surface, Super Mega Baseball 2 looks like a pretty face that lacks the substance necessary to have any sort of staying power. On closer examination, however, the depth of the mechanics provide a far more gratifying gameplay than would be expected. Slap an amusing layer of over-the-top animations on top of a roster of cartoonishly disarming characters, and the result is glorious throwback to the yesteryear of sports gaming. Being a filthy casual has never been so appealing.
Super Mega Baseball 2 brings a great amount of arcade fun to this historical sport. With great mechanics and pick up and play gameplay, the game keeps you entertained and engaged. Since there it is not an MLB game you can't use real players or teams, but that doesn't stop the game from holding up as a respectable title.
Super Mega Baseball 2 hides a great game behind this cartoonish style. Easy at the beginning, but its mechanics make this a game that is very difficult to master. This is an amazing surprise for baseball lovers and a great chance for those who don't know much about the genre.

Super Mega Baseball 2 is a big step up from the first game and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys video game baseball.
Super Mega Baseball 2 is a grounded baseball simulation wrapped in an arcade-style look and feel. An accurate physics engine generates realistic hits, and it keeps stats and models fatigue and morale in interesting ways. This realism is betrayed by a few control issues that affect the timing when batting and an AI that doesn't always behave as you'd expect. However, the unique Ego system allows you to tweak the difficulty of batting and fielding individually until you find the perfect challenge. And while it lacks the MLB license, you could use the accessible customization tools to recreate the entire MLB if you wanted to.
If you’re in the market for a Baseball game, or a new sports game at all, you could do a whole lot worse than Super Mega Baseball 2. If you’re a Baseball fan at all and you’ve dreamed of starting up your own team and taking on the world, you’re not going to find a package more enjoyable than this.
Metalhead is back with another helping of the Super Mega Baseball franchise, so we took Super Mega Baseball 2 out to the ballpark to see what it is all about. Simply put, it’s a great follow up to the original that added in a few requested features from that title, so if you enjoyed the original, you’ll appreciate the sequel.
Super Mega Baseball 2 brings out the best in what baseball games have to offer. An over-the-top, fun sports title that focuses on entertaining rather than realism, this is one is definitely worth checking out.
Super Mega Baseball 2 pretty much fixes everything I didn't like about modern baseball games. I believe even die-hard fans of baseball will still find much to love in this game, as it's clear that the developer loves baseball as much as any fan.
Super Mega Baseball 2 makes baseball easy and fun, but there is a depth for more advanced players. Fans simply can't find a better arcade game.

Super Mega Baseball 2 is a larger-than-life arcade sports title that will appeal to casual fans and baseball buffs alike. The game has a couple of graphics-related niggles, but it's an exciting PC sports title.
As far as local multiplayer games go on the current consoles, Super Mega Baseball 2 is a great option. If you've got Xbox Live Gold, then you can grab the game for free as part of the May lineup. Even if you're not a huge fan of the sport, it's well worth checking out.
I was very pleased with the simplistic, fun-to-play nature of Super Mega Baseball 2. The game plays very well with only a few shortcomings and does so for a small amount of bucks. You will not see Mike Trout hitting a home run, but you can have Tony Stark stealing home.
As it stands right now, Super Mega Baseball 2 is now the top dog of baseball games on the PC.
Don't let the lack of modes turn you away. Super Mega Baseball 2 nails the fundamentals of the sport
Overall, and despite a few relatively small annoyances throughout the game, Super Mega Baseball 2 provides an enjoyable for the entire family!
Super Mega Baseball 2 is a very fun game with colorful cartoon visuals that will keep you busy for many hours thanks to its single player with 100 levels of AI difficulty, and it's online and couch co-op options. So if you're looking for an arcade-style baseball game on PlayStation 4, then this one is definitely worth a look!
Overall, Super Mega Baseball 2 is a great package–there is a ton of depth, plenty of customization options for players, teams, and leagues, and online multiplayer. If you can get around the art-style, the poor soundtrack and umpire sound effects, the game is really a ton of fun. If you're a baseball fan, it's definitely worth checking out and being able to play on-the-go makes this the definitive version of the game.
